Este espacioso condominio de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños frente a la playa se encuentra en el tercer piso de este complejo. La unidad es de aproximadamente 1,475 pies cuadrados con un balcón privado de 30 pies con vistas sobre el hermoso Golfo de México. Esta unidad cuenta con una cama king en el dormitorio principal que da a la playa. El dormitorio de invitados con 2 camas queen. Los baños tienen tanto NUEVO! bañera / ducha combinaciones. Hay televisión en cada habitación. , Con DVD y VCR también el acceso a Internet de alta velocidad y Wi-Fi. ¡El nuevo! cocina le está totalmente equipada con todos los electrodomésticos y utensilios necesarios para la familia que le encanta cocinar. Hay una lavadora y secadora en la lavandería para su conveniencia.

Our unit was clean,excellent view of the beach, very short walk to the sand. Had everything you needed in the kitchen and more. Will definitely be renting again and hopefully the same unit. Our arrival process was short and simple, and everyone at Alicia's office is amazing and sweet.

Reviewer Comments: It had been a while since we had been to the panhandle(since Katrina), and it was so good to be back! the condo was great, very roomy and we were exactly where we wanted to be. the condo was very immaculate and had plenty of amenities , Publix very close(very important), we really enjoyed our stay. the only thing was the dryer might a new belt, it was hard to dry the towels, it was so loud! but that's an easy fix. all in all, we had a wonderful time. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, I can't say enough about how nice the folks at Alicia Hollis Rentals are. Very accommodating! I will try very hard to always rent through them when staying in Fort Walton. -- Condo is great! Being from Lafayette, LA, we cook a lot and the kitchen, for a condo, is big and user friendly. This was the 2nd year in a row in this condo. I will rent this condo again. Living room is well furnished and comfortable. One suggestion if you like a soft bed, bring a pillow topper for the King in the master BR and Queen toppers for the guest BR. Mattresses had no built in or added pillow topper and were a bit hard for us who sleep on a very soft beds at home.PS: Try FUBAR Pizza near Alicia Hollis' office. A good pizza joint and by far the best food value in the area.

Great Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This third floor condo gave us a great view of the beach. The pool is in the front of the complex rather than behind which meant no screams and splashes below our balcony at all hours. The walkway to the beach was well maintained and has several wash stations to clean sandy feet before going back to the condo. This was really nice as it minimized the wait when groups were heading in around the same time. One set of beach service (one umbrella, two chairs) was included in the rental. A utility closet in the condo had a sign saying there were two beach chairs enclosed. Apparently someone helped themselves to the beach chairs (boo), but someone had left two boogie boards which we used all week and left in the closet for the next guests. The condo itself is very spacious and well laid out. It is located near the stairs and elevator bank which at first concerned me, but ended up being very convenient and we honestly did not hear any noise even from the second bedroom which looks out to the front. The kitchen was very well stocked with any cooking implement you could ask for. The in-condo washer and dryer were used daily - the laundry room was in the front off the kitchen so the sound was minimized. The master slider to the balcony was stuck which was slightly disappointing but not the end of the world. The garbage disposal had issues during our stay and the dishwasher stopped working after the first day. That was a little more inconvenient and despite contacting AJH a couple of times the dishwasher issue was not resolved before our departure. However, it didn’t spoil our time with family and overall this was a fabulous stay.

Summer at Surf Dweller

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was a convenient location to beach, pool, restaurants, grocery store, and activities. It was also convenient to the elevator just 3 flights up so quick to the beach, on-site gym, and pool. This may seem small but it’s so appreciated when vrbo’s stock the kitchen with items such as paper towels and hand soap even if it’s generic, inexpensive items, as well as a small can of coffee. Please consider this in lieu of “free” activities (see next paragraph) for future guests to avoid a grocery store run right when you arrive. The link to activities only worked for gulfarium. We tried it for other “first ticket free” vendors on the explori website. one of the vendors (wild willy go cart) said they weren’t familiar with that and wouldn’t honor the free ticket even though the website showed their business on it. The other vendor that we tried was parasailing. It showed multiple availability but check-out returned error saying no availability. The vendor said they’d check into the availability issue but, wouldn’t honor the free ticket. I saw other reviews have a less than favorable experience with the “free” activities program, also. The owner/property manager may consider investing that $ into more amenities in the condo itself. For example, allowing the thermostat to be set at 70. The 72 requirement is not comfortable temperature when sleeping. Or, add some beach towels and additional beach chairs, body boards (we left ours at the condo for others to enjoy), and sand toys, etc. for the kids. The free beach service is nice but only accommodates 2 chairs yet the condo can accommodate 6 people. See previous comment about adding more beach chairs for the condo. Stephanie we are sorry about the free activities, but parasailing was not one of the free activities offered. As far as wild Willies we let Management know and is looking into it. The Temperature must be set at 72 as anything lower will freeze the machine. it is not like one in a home. Also, the beach service only accommodates two chairs because that is what the beach service provides. Any additional chairs everyone has to pay out of pocket. I hope you had fun and hope to see you again in the future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the unit. Freshly redone unit. Kitchen was well stocked. Alicia J Hollis, Realtor folks were VERY FRIENDLY and helpful! Only issue, and it wasn't a big deal, was that this complex allows only one vehicle per unit due to limited parking. We vacation with another couple, so had to park our one vehicle at the realtor's place a few blocks away. Again, the people at Alicia Hollis couldn't have been nicer! We will be booking this unit again for next summer. PS: Avoid eating at the Boardwalk, overpriced tourist food. Ask the folk at Alicia Hollis, they will tell you the best places.

Super nice condo!

We loved our condo! It was very clean and spacious. The view from the balcony is perfect. The kitchen has everything you need and more; however, an updated coffee maker would be nice. The only negative thing I can say is that the TV in the master suite had fallen off the wall prior to our visit. No one ever came to put it up while we were there. The beach chair guys were all very nice as was the realtor’s office staff. We will definitely go back!!

Fall Beach is always a much needed get away!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The free beach service was very much appreciated, but the guy (Travis) on the beach who manages the chairs was very rude. As long as you wave a $100 bill in his face he'll do anything, but you have to tell him that up front or per him "his boss told him free beach service units could not reserve chairs". Other than that our stay was wonderful! Note, the last several years the beach guy was very kind and treated everyone the same. He went out of his way to help people. I did call and complain to Alicia Hollis Realtor, but the owner of the beach service never called me.

thanks so much for letting us know about how much you enjoyed the condo 307 at the Surf Dweller. I am so sorry that you had a bad time with Travis, but, i know you placed a complaint to me, and i confronted his boss, and he did say he was going to get in touch with you, but, really, i have no control with them on the beach. All the owner does is pay them for the set up of umbrella and chairs on the beach, and that is all. But, always let us know and we will get to them. Please come and visit with us again and into 307sd.

Great location

My only complaint would be the outdoor furniture on the balcony. It really was a danger, especially for children and seniors. They seriously need to invest in better outdoor furniture it was old rickety, rusty, some of it looked like it was going to disintegrate before our eyes.

Nice, clean, comfortable and convenient!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at the Surf Dweller! It was clean and very comfortable providing everything we needed. There was easy access to the beach and lots of nearby places to eat and/or shop. We would definitely stay there again!
