Sunset Bay Getaway - Belle maison sur le lac des Mille Lacs, PLAGE DE SABLE!

Ceci est notre beau lac maison sur Sunset Bay avec une plage de sable sur le côté est de Mille Lacs Lake. Ce 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain maison comprend une cuisine entièrement équipée avec un grand îlot central. Le salon / salle à manger a un énorme plafond voûté avec de grandes fenêtres donnant sur la cour et le lac. La grande cour est de niveau, idéal pour les jeux comme le badminton, le croquet et pétanque. La plage de sable est peu profonde pour un long chemin sur, parfait pour les enfants, sans mauvaises herbes ou des rochers. L'eau est limpide. Il ya une longue quai avec un grand ascenseur à bateaux. Avoir un feu de joie sur la plage tout en dégustant un magnifique coucher de soleil! En outre grand pour la pêche sur glace. Près de Soo Trail ligne pour VTT et les motoneigistes. Boutiques de petite ville, restaurants et golf. 5 nuits minimum en juin, juillet et août (plus les week-ends de vacances printemps / été); Cependant, un séjour de 3 nuits minimum peut être envisagé s'il ne comprend pas un week-end, ou s'il n'y a que 3 nuits disponibles entre les réservations.

It is perfect for a single family looking to relax but also wants to have access to everything the lake has to offer. The private sand beach and dock were great for swimming, and there is a resort a short 3 minute walk up the road that is open to the public. It has attractions for the kids and a restaurant and bar for the parents. Would definitely come again!

Perfect place for adults and kids alike! It was amazing that there was a pack n play and small high chair seat. The sand beach is unlike any other spot on the lake!

Beach Getaway

Rode up for a short getaway. The house was in a great location, was clean and perfect size for our group of 4. The beach/lake was amazing. Water was clean and shallow. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent Property and Location

The house was very clean and Kathy was easy to communicate with. The location was amazing with a great beach, nice views and very quiet. I would highly recommend this property and hope to visit again.

Wonderful place to relax, put your feet in the sand, and watch the wildlife. Water was so calm in this bay area. Walking distance of a resort with great restaurant!

Fantastic 4 Night Stay!

The cabin was just as pictured in the listing. The beach was perfect for swimming! Our two sons spent a lot of time in the water and playing in the sand. We enjoyed bonfires, fishing, swimming, and making countless memories! Check in and out was a breeze and communication with Kathy was amazing. Everything in the cabin and outside was so organized. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to be back in the future!

Great family getaway!

We chose this location due to the beach and lake access. It lived up to our expectations! The home was cozy and clean. It was the best stocked kitchen for any VRBO I have stayed in! We enjoyed our time away and felt like there was plenty of space for our four teen/young adult children too. We were thankful for the fans provided as it warm during our stay and they helped us feel more cool when inside.

Mille Lacs Family Visit

Nice lake home right on Lake Mille Lacs. Large yard with patio for relaxation. Gas grill, outside table and seating for pleasant visits with family. Inside of house was roomy, bright, with plenty of light provided by large windows facing lake. Hostess owner very available and accommodating. All in all a great place for our stay.

Perfect relaxing getaway!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Sunset Bay!! Just what our busy family needed! The house is beautiful and more than accommodating. We very much appreciated the stocked kitchen, 2 bathrooms and laundry The beach and dock are the best features! Nature Stepped In

The cabin itself provided a lovely place to stay. Sadly, we were unable to swim at all because of nature's onslaught of Mayflies, as well as green algae in the water .The main reason we rent a cabin each year is to swim, so our family was very disappointed.The stench of the dead Mayflies prevented us from even sitting by the lake or having a fire by the beach. This was out of the control of our host. She did try to locate a better beach for us.

Beautiful Cabin

We enjoyed our week at this beautiful cabin. It was clean and well cared for. We had our son and our grandkids (ages 6 and 8) staying with us. The swim area was shallow and sandy for quite a ways out with no drop offs. There was a sand bar out past the dock, which the kids thought was really cool! There was a good size lawn for the kids to run around and play. The resort right down the road had great burgers and sandwiches. They also had a small store with ice cream cones and candy. Kathy was super! Any question we asked was answered immediately. She was the most attentive host we’ve ever dealt with. The only con was that we were there the week MN experienced the extreme heat wave and having no air conditioning was quite uncomfortable a couple of days. Otherwise, it was a perfect rental!

Thanks, Sheila! I am happy to say we are installing AC at the end of this summer, 2023! Even though it is rarely needed, plus the nights usually cool off, it seems we are getting more and more days where it is! Hope you come back next summer!

Beautifully maintained, perfect setup for families

Great location with easy access. The house was perfect for small children. Very clean and well-kept. We loved the open floor plan on the main floor with the patio. We loved that so many kitchen items were provided for cooking. The backyard was great for kids to play ball and run around and a nice distance to the lake so as not to worry. The lake and shoreline were just as described - wonderful sandy bottom, shallow shoreline for lots of water play and sandy beach for kids to play in. We also enjoyed wonderful sunsets across the lake and Kathy had everything so well organized with chairs at the beach and the patio furniture. Kathy answered all of our questions and was available at anytime to assist us throughout the week. We enjoyed visiting the resort down the road for an afternoon treat and spent time in the City of Isle at their wonderful playground at the City Park. They also have a great coffee shop, shopping and the bike trail right out of Isle is paved. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a nice, quiet, relaxing place to enjoy the lake and outdoors.

Great getaway for families with small kids

Everything about this property was great. The yard, the beach, the WATER-so clean and warm and super shallow, great for small kids! The area was quiet. Communication with the host was quick and efficient. We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet, relaxing getaway

We had a great time at this beautiful lake home! Our daughter loved the sand and shallow water! Convenient location with local shops, restaurants, Dollar General, and grocery store in town. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful! Definitely would recommend!

hanging around the fire was where we pretty much stayed all weekend. a couple of storms rolled through but had time to explore the lake and the property. great time ice fishing, playing board games and loved cooking in the kitchen.

Beautiful home in a great location!

Extremely pleased with the amenities and cleanliness of the house. Beautiful view out the back windows overlooking Mille Lacs. Very nice to be able to watch the sunset while enjoying a rec fire near the beach. Owner was very friendly and accommodating!

Fun family stay

Had a great time at this cabin in Mille Lacs! The owner, Kathy, was wonderful and easy to work with and answered any question we had promptly. Cabin suited 5 adults and 2 kids perfectly. I’d give 5 stars on the sandy, non-seaweed, shallow beach alone. We have a few non- swimmers in our group but everyone was so comfortable with the water we got everyone floating and enjoying the sand and sun! Thanks for the memories at sunset bay!

My husband, a home builder, built our lake home in 2005. We have so many great family memories here...bonfires on the beach, swimming, floating, fishing, taking long walks in the area, and just relaxing and hanging out. We know you will enjoy it as much as we do!

We chose Mille Lacs Lake because of the great fishing, clean lake, and we also wanted a sandy beach because we enjoy swimming, boating, and floating. We like being on the east side of the lake so we can enjoy the beautiful sunsets.
