Live It Up Lodge is a 3 minute walk to the slopes/biking/hiking, and tons of fun for the whole family! Ski season and year round, Live It Up Lodge is a convenient getaway for your family, sleeping 12 comfortably. Roast marshmallows by the fire, and challenge your friends to a variety of yard games like Corn hole, Jumbo Connect Four, Disc Golf, and more!

Just a short drive to the cool mountain vibe of Davis & Thomas for music at the Purple Fiddle, a beer at Stumptown ales, and a gallery stroll.

Live It Up Lodge is entertainment for the entire family with convenience and comfort! Fire up the gas grill for an evening of games & merriment on the deck. Gaze at the stars as your family and friends gather around the fire pit reminiscing about your day on the slopes.

Refuel from your day of adventure with meals served up from the well stocked modern kitchen. Your family of 12 will sleep tight with high quality bedding & mattresses. Three large screen Roku TV’s will keep the family happy even on dreary days.

For mountain bike enthusiast , we have a bike repair Stand mounted on the deck! Ride straight to many of the trails from the house.

Worst experience in almost 30 years of traveling!

The entire house was filthy and had a bad smell. The outside is rundown, and you have no privacy due to the location and lack of window coverings on the first floor. We felt the host was incredibly rude and unapologetic about the numerous issues we had during our stay. It was so bad, we left the property after only about 17 hours, forfeiting all the money we had paid for a 5 night stay. Read the listing carefully if you choose to stay because you will see it has window air conditioners, which in our case had already been removed prior to our stay in late Sept when the weather still warranted air conditioning. In the winter, the heat is baseboard heating. There is 1 ceiling fan in the entire house, so there is absolutely no air circulation. No idea how this property was rated so highly after seeing it firsthand!

Wonderful stay

We stayed here for 3.5 days. It was great. House is lovely and well-stocked, nice location, owner is really nice and very responsive. Would absolutely would recommend it and would stay here again! Thank you!

A pleasant experience

The number of beds and the room sizes were decent and were perfect fit for a 10-12 people group with kids. The property was kids’ friendly and host was very much reachable and cooperative. We appreciated that.

Great location, cute house

Nice kitchen, huge fireplace, comfy beds, and a short walk to the slopes! Love the outdoor fire pit and had a fire there, even in the snow.

Great Location!

This property is the prime location/home base for visiting Timberline! The owners communicated well and were very accommodating to requests that were made prior to our trip.

Great place

This was a great place for our family thanksgiving. Central location for our outings. Loved the fireplace with wood provided. The kitchen was really wonderful and fully stocked. Would definitely consider coming here again and recommend to others.

Just Right

We have stayed in this beautiful place several times. It's perfect for our large family with 4 bedrooms, some with multiple beds, and 3 bathrooms. There's a large living and dining room with a wood burning fireplace. The kitchen is beautifully remodeled and fully stocked. The house has a nice yard for kids and pets as well and the owner is accessible and nice. There are extra touches such as games and puzzles that makes this our favorite rental in Canaan Valley.

Amazing Host, Clean Place, all Modern Appliances

Must stay! Felt like home away from home, nice experience and everything was very clean, kitchen was fully equipped with Utensils and Spices. Had an amazing time with friends, cooking and chatting. One big screen smart TV in the living area, wow, made our movie feel amazing and songs over YT streaming. Has fast WiFi network. Alison is a great host - well thought about guests. Many board games options for all ages, had all toiletries, even had a tooth paste (I bought mine with me, but what if you miss it? oh! no worries! Alison had it covered for us too, name anything you need as such) 😃 To sum up, beautiful home in a very nice community, close to Davis and nearby State/ National parks with well-thought in-house experience for the guests. Amazing views and even a indoor/ fireplace.
