Charming, cozy, clean and with a full kitchen. Peaceful rural setting with views of the mountains. Close to Smuggs. Perfect for a couple or single. Pet-friendly which is important to me because I try to bring my dog with me on my travels whenever possible.
Ellen was extremely responsive, and had small details ready for our stay that we didn’t even know we needed! It felt like a home away from home with views of the birdfeeders and thoughtful Vermont dedicated art.
Ellen was extremely nice and very helpful with recommendations in the area! Property was gorgeous and nearby many activities.

The place was clean, spacious, warm and comfortable. It was beautifully decorated with many lovely pieces of artwork. We had a great view out the huge window facing the mountains. I had everything I needed from kitchen utensils to hot showers to extra towels. Ellen was attentive, turning the outside lights on for when we returned in the evening, but gracious about giving us our space
This studio cottage is adorable! The setting is stunning and Ellen is such a great host. The photos in VRBO don’t do the place justice. It’s spacious and open and served as a quiet backdrop for our busy five days. I can’t recommend the Pondhouse enough! I would definitely love to return to my new Vermont home!
This space is truly extraordinary. The property is beautiful and so very peaceful. Everything you could need has been considered. Ellen is a true steward of the property and it shows. She is warm, thoughtful, and a great communicator. We cannot wait until we have a chance to go back!!
All the comforts of home! Ellen was available but not intrusive. The place was lovely in a very quiet neighborhood with lovely gardens full of flowers and a pond. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
Perfect relaxing retreat for a beautiful fall retreat. Ellen was awesome to talk with, and the "Pondhouse" was extremely well appointed with every detail that may be needed for your stay. Absolutely a great place to stay!!!
