Room was comfortable, it had everything we needed with the exception of regular caffeinated coffee pods for my husband. But in all fairness we didn’t bother contacting the management company so not really a big deal.

Small but Clean & Comfortable

This was a good location for our 3-night stay while exploring Yellowstone. It was a couple minutes from the West gate. It is an older motel that is being updated. Our room (#15) was clean with a comfortable queen bed with new higher end linens. New curtains in bedroom and kitchen. Shower was tiny but great pressure and lots of hot water. New shower curtain, paint, flooring, etc. Kitchen was very tiny but worked for us. I was surprised that it only had two little “dorm style” fridges. There’s a communal freezer outside that we used for our food and ice packs.

The room was super clean! The Host was super nice and went out of her way to help us. I just don't like all this computerized communication on someone else's terms when we are paying the bill. No penalty should be allowed to be charged for utilizing a credit card. At these rates it is the cost of doing business. The unit is an old motel prettied up. I was betting the the paneled walls with the grooves were originally brown, painted over in white. Outside my window were 4 rusty large barrel's that I wondered if their were noxious chemicals. I didn't sleep well the 2nd night. The bed was super comfortable. The duck pillow was supportive but too thick by maybe an inch. The other pillows were not supportive. The police were out to give tickets. In about an hour more or less were saw 5 cars mainly about the same time pulling people over. Summer season seems to be all about extracting people's assets...better to walk around town. The park had pleasant free entertainment. They are banking on location, location, location and it felt like every sale may have boosted the next person's rate. I was shocked that they seemed full. We are never able to get our vacation club's original promise fulfulled from like a time share. This has nothing to do with this. But, we were supposed to be sheltered from inflation, but I can never find an opening for OUR travel plans on OUR terms and conditions. Travel has lost its pleasure in today's market.

This place is great bang for your buck. If your goal is to spend a lot of time outside at the National Park or walking around town, then this is the place to stay. The check in and check out process was very clear.

The hotel is within walking distance to souvenir shops, restaurants, and grocery store. The hotel notified us of check-in process just as they said they would and check-out process was very clearly stated.
