My goal is to provide customers low cost lodging in the Snowshoe Village while ensuring a comfortable vacation. My low price guarantee is valid from mid-March through the first weekend of skiing. I'll beat any verifiable, comparable Mountain Lodge offer during those dates. I have additional units if this one is booked.

Snowshoe Resort is a year-round vacation resort. In the winter you and your party can enjoy 60 different ski slopes, two terrain parks, tubing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. After the slopes close you can stroll through the Village's restaurants, shops, kids’ entertainment zone, nightclub, full service spa and a teen center for those 20 years old and younger.

In the summer you can plan on a significantly cooler climate in the mountains where you can hike, mountain bike, fish, paddle-boat, shoot sporting clays, or golf at Raven Golf Course. There are also RAZR 4-wheelers and a zip line right in the Village! Year-round you can sightsee, swim, see live theater, or take a scenic ride on a historic train. As of summer 2015, Snowshoe closed most activities (except for lodging and the golf course) on Mon – Weds. If you’re planning a summer trip, double-check with Snowshoe to ensure the activities you want will be available.

The Mountain Lodge is a Ski In/Ski Out complex ideally located right in the Snowshoe Village and next to the slopes, and has its own private parking lot (free to Mountain Lodge guests). You’ll be 30 yards from the Ballhooter Lift and the Beginners’ Slope, all within the Basin. The indoor pool/hot tub/ sauna (additional charges apply), church, and general store are only a several minute walk you’re your building. Your condo at the Mountain Lodge is also within walking distance of the Western Territory slopes and the shuttle to night skiing at Silver Creek, giving you outstanding access to all 60 slopes. On the ground floor you’ll find a relaxing lobby with a warm fireplace. The common areas and units of the building all have their own dedicated wi-fi. You’ll have Auntie Pasta’s (check in advance for hours of operation) and an arcade all in your own building. Mountain Lodge also offers a nightly movie during the ski season. Though you shouldn't need it, Mountain Lodge is the only building on the mountain with on-site maintenance. If something goes wrong in any other building, good luck getting a quick repair. The mild weather most of the summer at the top of the mountain allows for the lack of air conditioning in the building and in most rooms. Despite this, some rooms do have interior air conditioning. Please check the unit’s amenities for details.

Your cell phone may not work in and around Snowshoe Mountain. The area east of the mountain is a quiet zone due to the Green Bank National Observatory. As of 2015, AT&T has service at the resort, but not down the mountain to the east. Your GPS will work everywhere, but don’t count on your phone working (voice or data).

You’ll have a spacious, ground-floor, two-bedroom condo that easily sleeps six; and, you won't get much closer to the slopes than this unit. This unit is one of the few with air conditioning. It is beautifully re-modeled with oak doors, oak trim, and oak wainscoting almost throughout. Unlike most other units you'll have a washer/dryer right in your room if needed. The kitchen is well-stocked with dinnerware, utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, etc. so you can bring food to eat-in. The master bedroom has a king bed and a TV/VCR. The smaller bedroom has a queen size bed and plenty of storage space to keep your gear out of your way. There’s a sleeper sofa in the living room. There are two full bathrooms and a TV/VCR/DVD player in the living room. Videos can be rented downstairs in the lobby or at Wildcat Provisions. Your condo will have a built-in ski rack and a patio. The living room has a digital thermostat.

Looking for true skii in and out, ML 125 is your place!

Let me first say that I've stayed in 125 twice now and it's been a pleasure to work with Tim each time. He is quick to respond to your inquiries and is always extremely helpful! The condo is locate within a couple of feet to the door going out to the Ballhooter lift, which is awesome! in the morning it is so easy to just step out your door and be on the slopes within seconds. Coming in for lunch or anytime is very easy as well. If you are like us and bring most of your own food (huge cost savings) you'll love how the kitchen is stocked with everything you'll need to either cook or heat up your food. I really can't say enough good things about our experience, and we'll be staying with Tim and ML 125 again on our next trip to Snowshoe!

Great Condo in a perfect location

My family of 6 spent 3 days in the condo and had a great time despite the poor snow skiing conditions. The condo met all of our needs and was super close to the ski in/ski out door right in front of the Ballhooter Lift. Couldn't ask for any more at this price.

Ski In, Ski Out Convenience

Mountain Lodge is the most convenient place to say on Snowshoe and this condo is one of the most conveniently located in Mountain Lodge, being just a few steps from both the Ballhooter Lift entrance and the parking lot entrance. The negative of the location is that the view is only that of the parking lot, whereas you get the mountain view from the other side of Mountain Lodge. The Condo is nice by ML standards. The King bed is a plus. Tim was very responsive during the rental process. Only negative was the living room thermostat didn't work when we arrived. We notified the front desk and they put in a maintenance order. But maintenance didn't show up until the third day, as we were leaving, and that was only after I called Tim to notify him of the problem. So the living room was a pretty chilly the first two nights.

Owner's Response: Apologies again for the cold room. This was the result of a miscommunication between the maintenance guys, who are typically very quick to fix problems. We got the thermostat replaced and the condo is cozy again. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Sweet Spot!

This is the best Ski-in and Ski-out on the mountain as far as location! Literally walk 30-40 steps and you're at the top ready to burn the mountain up like Clark Griswold. ML has been around for a while, so it's nothing fancy, but if you're coming to ski/board, who needs fancy? We had 4 grown men staying in Tim's place, one of which is a big sasquatch/oger looking mofo, and we had plenty of room. Tim is super helpful and very responsive. I'll be back to carve! DEEEVVVVIIIILLLLLL!
