Review

I rated the property 4 stars because the photos project a much newer appearance. Kitchen cabinets are in poor condition, and insufficient amount of silverware. Lighting in the garage is dim when doing laundry or playing games. The property served its purpose and we love Windsor Hills. We have stayed on Windsor Hills many times and it is a great location near Disney and Universal.

Family Vacation

We rented this house to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday. It was a great house. It was clean. Pool and hot tub were also nice. Didn’t use community much because we’re busy at parks, but it is a nice neighborhood.

Beautiful vacation home

The home was very clean and had everything you needed. We did have an issue where the stand alone hot tub was dirty and had a smell. We reached out to the property manager and they came right out, drained and completely cleaned the hot tub. From then on it worked perfectly.

Great Spot

The house was exactly as described, and myself and the family greatly enjoyed staying there. We spent plenty of time in the pool and hot tub, and the complex's water park was well used by the kids. We would stay there again.

Great location for all of Disney

Location is excellent as is the checkin process. Property is a little dated and could use a deep clean. That said, everything works and it’s a good sized property.

Warm vacation

The place was nice to stay at. No check in or security issues. I did call the Itrip # one time and there was no answer or return call but all was well. I would stay again!

Great House

Everything that we needed. Kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub. Unfortunately it was too chilly during our stay for the pool but nice patio area with table. House is Close to Disney, shopping and restaurants, Liked that all bedrooms had their own bathroom.

Description was accurate

Everything is the description was exactly how it was. They had plenty of towels i loved that the check in process was easy and the house was very clean. The hot tub was so nice we loved that feature. The house was a little outdated but it served it purpose and the price was good. Will rent again.

Great house, excellent Location

We have used Windsor Hills properties a number of times over the years and have always had a great experience. This property lived up to expectation. All amenities were excellent and the community facilities were great as well. There is a new Walmart on the main road so groceries and gas were very close. This is a great property for families and if you are going to any of the parks I would highly recommend it.

Suited us perfectly

This home completely met our needs. I'm especially grateful for the washer and dryer so I didn't have as much laundry when we returned home. The pool heat was well worth it and having the hot tub as a second option was awesome too. No complaints here!

Great place for a family!

We stayed with three teenagers. Everyone had fun enjoying the pool & hot tub, and there were also a few billiards and foosball tournaments. The property was as described, and very close to Disney parks. The property manager was very responsive to communication, and we had all of the information we needed for a smooth check-in and departure. Overall a great time. The hot tub cover is going to need to be replaced soon - I imagine that may be a common issue with the covers (it is sunk in in the middle, so doesn't fit as well as it should. Did not affect the tempertature of the water, but perhaps the efficiency of heating it. )

Clean and comfortable home away from home

The property was well maintained, and we really enjoyed the back patio/porch area. We liked the hot tub but the cover isn’t great and some of the underside material would come off when trying to take off and put on. Couldn’t find the “pool lights” switch anywhere unless they don’t work. Would also recommend adding some pot holders to your stock of items to keep at the house. We used the oven and couldn’t find anything to remove our items from there. Otherwise we really enjoyed the property.

Great place for our family

We stayed here with our four adult children and daughter-in-law during our most recent trip to Disney World. The house was clean and ready to go when arrived (very late due to flight delays). Check-in instructions clear and easy. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and pool table in the garage. Only item that needs a little attention is some upgraded cookware (frying pan was warped, coffee maker was a little wonky). One other item to note is that the houses and backyards are close together in this part of the neighborhood...we had one noisy neighbor that woke us up with their pool activity at 3am. Ended up not being a big issue and we can hardly fault the property owner for the poor behavior of other guests.

Dealing with issues

We were disappointed that neither the pool nor hot tub were usable when we arrived after a log travel day. After reporting the issues, the pool was cleaned the following day. Much to our dismay the hot tub remained unusable for the entirety of our stay. We also found rodent droppings in the garage recreation room and therefore did not use it either.

Not a happy experience.

Was not a clean house. Carpets needs to be replaced. Very old and discolored. Pool area was dirty. One Top net section was torn and falling down inside which let insects in the pool. Found one rat running aroundas well. Had dirty bedsheets and had to call to get them replaced.

Know before you go

From past experience we knew the neighborhood was very close to WDW. We also knew the resort was secure and offered great resort amenities. I also did a lot of research on this property and knew to expect there could be issues with this home. But it fit our budget and since we were park hopping all but one day of our trip the house would be mainly used for sleeping and a few meals. Bottom line is the house needs cleaning! The pool was dirty the hot tub had a brown film in It and was a health risk to use. The bedroom TVs are very small and the tv in the kids room will not get live tv and the volume does not work. Since we were only relaxing on our last day I did not report the pool or tub and we chose to use the awesome resort pool and water slides. This home fit our needs, but if we were using the home for more than a landing spot I would be upset.
