A location you can’t beat. You are just steps from the duck pond and the Japanese garden. A cool historic house with all the convenience and lots of charm.
My family converged from Denver and Napa to Spokane for Bloomsday! The house is in an awesome location. Tyler was a great host, checking to make sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. The house is loaded with historical charm but, has all the up to date amenities one would need for a successful stay. By the way, we all successfully completed the run!
Excellent location adjacent to Manito park. For those traveling with pets, the yard is not fenced. To me, that was not clear from the pictures. Good value, would stay again.
We gathered in Spokane to be with extended family. The house and location were perfect for us. Everything was lovely and lots of toys and supplies that made for a wonderful time.
The location across the street from the park was perfect. We had a great stay at the property. The property manager was a great communicator and the treats left in the kitchen were a nice touch. We would’ve given this property a five star if it wasn’t for the dusty front porch and the musty basement. We would love to stay here again.
Lovely home next to Manito Park! Had everything we needed for cooking family meals, extra sheets, blankets and towels. This home fit grandparents plus family of 4 perfectly. Everything clean! Laundry room was great. Thank you for sharing this home with us!
It was a lovely stay. Our only request is to try and communicate with renters about property management happening while they are on site. While we were working and on conference calls, the yard team showed up blowing leaves for 2 hrs and even stomping and blowing the roof. It was wild and so loud, surprising and disruptive.
We came to Spokane for a grandsons graduation. The Lorraine at The Lilac Garden was a very beautiful home. The host goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. We enjoyed our daily walks in the park as well.
The location cannot be beat. Across the street from beautiful Manito Park and a short walk to Manito Bakery for coffee in the morning. Perfect accommodations for 2 or 3 couples and equipped with everything you need, from the kitchen to bathrooms, living and dining areas. The basement is a great space to watch sports and play games. By far our favorite VRBO we’ve stayed at when visiting Spokane. We’ll be back!
The Lorraine is a lovely house in a great neighborhood. Two bedrooms on the main floor and a room with 2 twins in the basement. The porch was great to sit on and we even used the stone fire pit one night out back. I'd definitely stay here again. FYI for planning: there is no grill, no lighters for firepit and a keurig coffee maker. There was plenty of spices and napkins.
House very well stocked with everything we needed. Roomy with adequate seating. Great location only 15 minutes from airport. Host very easy to work with. The 4 start rating is because we felt it could be a bit cleaner, but that could be due to me requesting an earlier check in. The tub floor for one and dust bunnies in drawers. The pot holders were icky inside. Need to be washed. Minor things. Overall it was very clean with products for dishwasher, dishes, shower, etc. We had a great stay. There were 4 of us. Thank you.
We enjoyed our stay at the Lorraine so much! We came to Spokane to do college tours with our HS Junior. The location was perfect - we walked in Manito Park multiple times daily, the Rockwood Bakery was a 10 minute walk away to get a daily treat, and the downtown was also very close. The house is comfortable and had all the necessities for our stay. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and also by the back fireplace for our evening drinks. I really hope we can return and stay again sometime.
This beautiful cottage exudes charm! It’s beautiful, well-equipped, comfortable and made the best home away from home. The host, Tyler, is extremely responsive and so thoughtful! He added a Christmas tree for us, there were hooks on the fireplace for our stockings and he even stocked the kitchen with a rolling pin for us so we could have our family tradition of making Christmas cutout cookies!
Perfect location in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Grocery and restaurants within walking distance. Easy walking or driving access to Manito Park. Lovely welcome basket of snacks, as well as coffee pods and everything you would need to cook a wonderful meal. Great fireplace outside. Would benefit from having a couple more outdoor chairs, and a waste basket in the downstairs bedroom area. Other than that, this was perfect for our weekend with cousins!
