Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We’re glad you found the home comfortable and enjoyed the air conditioning and beds. Regarding the outdoor area, the fire pit did have some weeds growing around it at the time of your stay, but they would not have prevented guests from safely enjoying a fire, as the fire itself is contained and would naturally clear the surrounding weeds. That said, we’ve since cleaned up the area to keep it looking its best. As for the spiders and cobwebs, our property is located in a heavily wooded, rural setting, so it’s unfortunately impossible to prevent the occasional spider or web from appearing between cleanings. We have the exterior of the home pressure washed regularly, but nature tends to reclaim those spaces quickly. The loft is designed as a cozy sleeping space and is accurately represented in our listing photos. We’ve hosted many guests over the years without receiving concerns about its size or layout. Guests who prefer more headroom may find the main-level sleeping areas more comfortable. We were also sorry to hear about your concern regarding the smoke odor. A previous guest violated our strict no-smoking policy, and they were penalized accordingly. The odor had been professionally addressed prior to your stay, and we have not received similar reports from other guests. Lastly, none of these concerns were brought to our attention during your stay, otherwise they would have been addressed to make your stay enjoyable!
