The property is in a beautiful, nature-filled setting, with a private pond and proximity to a state nature area and lake. It is located about 30 minutes from downtown Nashville and only 6 miles from the Nashville Speedway. Local restaurants are within a 10-minute drive.
The cabin itself is modest. The kitchen is basic, equipped with a dorm-sized fridge, microwave, and a toaster oven with two electric burners on the top. The loft bedroom, accessible by a narrow spiral staircase, may be difficult for taller or larger individuals to navigate. Due to fear of heights, one guest opted to sleep on the Murphy bed on the main floor, which was surprisingly comfortable.
The bathroom is small, with limited mirror space and a compact shower, which poses a challenge for individuals wanting to shave their legs. While the cabin was generally clean, there were mouse droppings found in a drawer below the microwave.
The back deck is appealing with built-in bench seating, but the patio furniture was dirty and went unused due to the lack of cleanliness. Additionally, an RV park is located at the back of the property without any privacy screening. The lack of screen doors led to a mosquito issue inside the cabin when exiting the cabin after dark.
The property as a whole has great potential for larger gatherings like family reunions but could benefit from better maintenance and amenities.
