Husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The Chalet was perfect for the two of us. Property very close to some nice hiking trails including Couchville Loop and Volunteers Trail. Only 30 minute drive into Nashville. Perfect weekend getaway.
We loved the property and how beautiful and quiet a stay we had. We relaxed but also were able to go the state park to kayak. Saw lots of deer on the property which was awesome :) Overall wonderful stay and highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at the A-Frame. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We did things in Nashville and the location was really convenient for that too. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay was good. The location was very handy - close to Mount Juliet, Long Hunter State Park, and Nashville.
The spiral staircase is indeed narrow as mentioned in the listing. The cabin was on the small side, but was adequate for two people.
Property was nice and clean. Kind of hard to find, but great scenery

Such a cute and beautiful property we enjoyed watching the deer in the fields in the evening has everything that you need the Wi-Fi was very spotty ended up not using it the water pressure is awesome the bed is comfortable nice place if you want to unplug and relax
We were excited to get away for a week just the two of us. It was our first time to be away together for a week. What a great place to spend a week together. Just as advertised, the property was secluded and peaceful. Just far enough from the bustle of the city yet close enough to get to the city with ease! Beautiful experience! Thank you Rural Farm for such a beautiful place to relax.

Had some issues the first day, but it was corrected the next day. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed every morning drinking coffee on the back deck. Shower stall was small but we made it work, surprisingly the water pressure was great. It definitely served it purpose of breaking away from the crazy world.

We enjoyed hosting you, Keith. Thank you for visiting Rural Hill Farm!
I had some trouble following the instructions at night due to coming in an opposite way. But Safari Maps worked fine where Google didn’t. Emily was available even late to help out. And it was MUCH easier during the day to locate. The property itself is GORGEOUS.

The property is in a beautiful, nature-filled setting, with a private pond and proximity to a state nature area and lake. It is located about 30 minutes from downtown Nashville and only 6 miles from the Nashville Speedway. Local restaurants are within a 10-minute drive.
The cabin itself is modest. The kitchen is basic, equipped with a dorm-sized fridge, microwave, and a toaster oven with two electric burners on the top. The loft bedroom, accessible by a narrow spiral staircase, may be difficult for taller or larger individuals to navigate. Due to fear of heights, one guest opted to sleep on the Murphy bed on the main floor, which was surprisingly comfortable.
The bathroom is small, with limited mirror space and a compact shower, which poses a challenge for individuals wanting to shave their legs. While the cabin was generally clean, there were mouse droppings found in a drawer below the microwave.
The back deck is appealing with built-in bench seating, but the patio furniture was dirty and went unused due to the lack of cleanliness. Additionally, an RV park is located at the back of the property without any privacy screening. The lack of screen doors led to a mosquito issue inside the cabin when exiting the cabin after dark.
The property as a whole has great potential for larger gatherings like family reunions but could benefit from better maintenance and amenities.
