Actual Condo Great But Unsatisfactory Balcony Views

  • 3 of 5

The actual condo itself was great. Clean. Convenient location. Easy and quick drive to downtown Moab.

We felt the photos of the view from the balcony were misleading because they didn't show the pole barn that you see, the many homes and backyards you look down into, several motorhomes, the random piles of tires, random old cars sitting around, some sort of semi/truck trailer type vehicles sitting around, and so on. The main reason we booked this condo was because the photos posted were very beautiful and we like to utilize balconies/patios but felt the actual view from this balcony was a lot different from the posted photos.

We will update description of the area to better inform so future guest realize it is not a remote location but in a populated area with both residential and commercial neighbors. Thanks again for your insight and ideas on how we can provide a quality place for future guests.

Nice area just on the edge of town

  • 3 of 5

The condo was very nice and in a good location to downtown Moab. We were surprised and slightly disappointed that there was major construction going on there. Did not realize we would be listening to hammers and nail guns first thing in the morning. Basic necessities are provided and the condo was well maintained and clean

Owner's Response: We are glad the condo meet your expectations and wish we had control over the construction of the final condo building. The good news is it will be done in a few months and it has provided the association with a new pool and hot tub area.

Home away from home

  • 5 of 5

My family of five stayed at this wonderful Moab condo for over a week. It was a great base camp for Arches NP, Canyonlands NP, Natural Bridges NM and Dead Horse State Park. We actually felt spoiled having this rental because it met all our needs. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. Todd was quick to reply to all of our questions about the rental and the Moab area and was accessible if we needed him. His responses were fairly quick. We spent most of the day outside, only to come home late at night (10 or 11pm) to shower, eat and sleep. So the condo made our daily routine convenient. While visiting the parks, we noticed so many visitors leave by dinner time and found it odd. Then we realized that many restaurants in Moab close by 9pm (and many of the visitors were staying in hotels, forcing many people to leave the parks early). So staying at this condo has made our meal times very flexible and we were able to enjoy staying in the national parks longer.

The condo itself practically has everything and ready to be lived in. This was by far the best rental property we have booked. There was more than enough room for all five of us to move around in. The two bathrooms made shower times quicker for us. At times, we noticed that the water pressure was low when turning on the faucets. It happened occasionally during our stay. I suspect it happened when everyone else in the condo unit was using water at the same time, because the water pressure was just fine otherwise. Something to keep in mind. The kitchen came stocked with all necessary utensils and tableware. There were even spices for cooking. I believe some of those were left intentionally by previous renters. But we were more than happy to use them and contributed other ingredients for future tenants. The grocery store was close to the condo so restocking on food necessities was never an issue. The dishwasher wasn't really good at cleaning the dishes, especially anything dairy (ice cream, milk, cheese). So make sure to pre-rinse the dishes and remove food particles. What made our trip even easier was access to a washer and dryer. This allowed us to pack less and have more room in the car for other gear. We were extremely thankful for that!

Overall, our experience was excellent. I was very satisfied with my stay and look forward to booking again. We've already decided to visit Moab again next spring so we may just stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Great Stay

  • 5 of 5

The unit is huge and even has a master closet big enough to sleep a kid- there's even a twin bed inside. Spotlessly clean, nice appliances, pretty views of mountains and backyard horses. The owner is easy to reach and great with communication. It was easy to hear neighbors walking and talking but it's a quiet complex so wasn't an issue. We did have some weird and significant water pressure problems that seemed to come and go but that was the only knock. Overall we were thrilled with the place and would stay again.
