About the property

3Br/2B with Easy Access to Hiking, Biking, Jeeping, and Much More Outdoor Fun!

Welcome to our Moab home! Consider this vacation condo your 'home away from home' and base of operations for all of the memories you and your family will make in Moab and the surrounding areas.

Relax and unwind in our modern day kiva located within minutes of downtown Moab, Utah. All on one floor (no stairs!), our condo's 3 bedrooms include a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom, and twin-over-full bunk beds in the 3rd. Your family will have plenty of room with an open floor plan decorated in a Southwest theme and furnished for comfort. Vaulted ceilings and skylight windows add to the spacious feel inside.

Recreation in the area is dominated by hiking, mountain biking, “Jeeping”, rafting, camping, horseback riding, and much more, so you will definitely appreciate the amenities our vacation rental offers. Imagine a day spent exploring the nearby parks and scenic byways, then coming home to a refreshing dip in the pool or soak in the hot tub. You probably won’t spend much time indoors but, when you do, you’ll have free WiFi, cable, 4 flat screen TVs, stereo, and a DVD/VHS player for entertainment. You can also unwind with less techie items such as the gas log fireplace, a bottle of wine from one of the two local wineries, and the beautiful views from every window.

We love the outdoors but we also love our creature comforts! Our vacation rental is geared toward making you and your family and/or companions comfortable and welcome with virtually everything you need during your stay. Fully outfitted to allow as much or as little cooking as you desire, the kitchen includes many extras so that you can have a lovely “sit down” dinner or a stress-free meal cooked on the gas grill. You'll also enjoy casual dining on the private patio surrounded by gorgeous rim views, a constant reminder of the natural beauty of the area.

Not only is the two-car garage great for your vehicle, it also provides a way to store your bikes, outdoor gear, and any other “toys” that you may use when exploring the State and National Parks in the area. Bring your spirit of adventure - and plenty of water - and enjoy!

The only thing left is for you to have fun. We would love for you to start your own Road to Moab journey right here!

About Mark & Robin Lamb

With four adult children (grown and on their own thankfully!), we live in Virginia with our German Shepherd and spend our spare time being active, having fun with family, and going new places. We fell in love with Moab the first time we ventured there and worked seriously for three years to get our own own place there. Patience and hard work paid off and we're so happy to have our own little slice of Moab heaven in Rim Village!

Mark & Robin Lamb purchased this condo in 2013

Why Mark & Robin Lamb chose Moab

Why the heck did we pick Moab as our second home??? Well, we're both employed in the environmental field and our vacations are centered around enjoying the great outdoors. When we came to Moab the first time, we felt that we had truly come home. No matter what activities we wanted to do, it seemed that Moab and the surrounding areas provided us with the opportunity. Every year, we try to experience something more about Moab, the National Parks, Utah State Parks, and the other parks and attractions within driving distance (such as the Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde, and Santa Fe). So, we bought this property to have a location in the heart of what we believe is truly America's greatest attraction of all.

What makes this condo unique

This specific condo appealed to us because of its location and the views from almost every room. The skylights and the open floor plan in the kitchen/dining area provide an uplifting atmosphere and brighten our moods every day, while the peace and tranquility of the location soothes our souls. Our little trickster, Kokapelli, can also be found throughout the rooms and he simply makes us smile. So, while there are so many amazing activities to enjoy (hiking, mountain biking, rock-crawling in Jeeps, rafting, etc.), the most unique aspect of The Road to Moab is its serenity. We feel our home in Moab is very relaxing...and we hope you do, too!

Guestbook comments from the owner

In love with Arches, Canyonland, Dead Horse and environs. The condo is completely comfortable and convenient. We have had a great week and will return again - at least we hope so.

Perfect in every way

  • 5 of 5

The condo is clean, well equipped, has a great view of the mountains from the patio, has access to the community pool for a relaxing dip after an active day. It's a perfect quiet location outside of town, but close enough for a short ride to explore this quaint little town. It's only a 15 minute ride to entrance of Arches Park and an hour ride to Canyonlands Park. This is a no brainer, it's perfect. Best 6 day vacation we ever had.

Fantastic place to relax and rejuvenate after activities around Moab

  • 5 of 5

The property was really nice and Mark and Robin were very quick to respond with any questions I had. Location was wonderful for us being just south of town to avoid all of the traffic and chaos of downtown Moab. Would definitely consider staying there again on future trips

Wayland MA

Very comfortable condo in a quiet location close to NPs.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a week with one of our adult (mid-20s) children and were not disappointed. It's close to Moab but far enough away to be in a relatively tranquil part of Spanish Valley. The unit was quite comfortable, well furnished, well supplied, and clean. The nearby pool was a great place to cool off after a day of hot weather hiking. Lastly, the owners are very attentive and helpful. For example, we returned one afternoon to find the cable and wifi not functioning. Almost immediately, before I could contact anyone, I got an email from Mark letting us know it was a cable company problem and was being addressed. It was fixed within a couple hours. Finally, a word or two about the area -- absolutely unbelievable! This was our first visit to Moab and Arches/Canyonlands. If you have never been there, go! And stay here!

Awesome place to stay while visiting the Moab, Utah sites!!!!

  • 5 of 5

We opened the door of the condo style home and was very impressed with the cleanliness of every room. We liked the layout of the home, with the master being separated from the other two bedrooms. Everything was operational, heat, air, washer, dryer, and kitchen appliances.

The location was excellent, being out of town, but a short 10 minute ride put you in town. I would also recommend the Susie's Branding Iron restaurant, just a two minute drive and extremely good food and great service!!! The best part for last is the fact that it was very affordable pricing, saving us about 45% of hotel pricing, and providing more privacy for us!!!

Thanks Mark and Robin for sharing such a nice home for our vacation in Moab, Utah!!!!

Moab is one of the most unique vacation spots in North America. Arches National Park is within 10 minutes of Moab and is considered by many to be the most iconic national park save the Grand Canyon. Canyonlands National Park actually consists of three districts with two of the three districts (Island in the Sky and The Needles) located approximately 40 minutes from Moab. Mesa Verde National Park is located less than two hours away. Dead Horse State Park, located about 40 minutes away, may even be more popular than the the national parks. The beautiful Colorado River cuts right through Moab and state route 128, which follows the river, is a national scenic byway with one of the most gorgeous drives you will ever take. If you are an outdoor enthusiast you could spend a lifetime in Moab and encounter a new experience with every new excursion. Recreation is dominated by hiking, camping, four-wheeling, mountain biking, rafting, horseback riding, canyoneering, and so much more. Just remember it's high desert so drink plenty of water....and get yourself on the Road to Moab!
