Vey good accommodations for our group of 7. This was one of several stops on a 2 week road trip through Alaska. Nice Place. Very clean. Well maintained.

Fantastic Home!

My family has stayed in several BnBs and we all agreed this was by far the best one we have stayed in. The home was well maintained. Almost anything we needed was available. Excellent location to get to lots of activities.

It was very quiet. The host gets an A for effort on an older home. It was very clean. The kitchen and bathrooms had been remodeled. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows, which is important to me. The kitchen was supplied with nice pans and utensils. For someone my age, the staircase was challenging, but it had good handrails. Check-in was easy. The host was quick to reply to any questions I had.

Clean and nice area

It was exactly what we needed as we explored Fairbanks. Multiple appliances were ready for use. Beds were comfortable. The balcony was in disrepair, but we did not come for the balcony.

The dinning room table was set up as if it were ready for a dinner party, not inviting for a family that needed to sit down and eat a meal. We were a family of 7, teenager on to young adults. It said it slept 8, but we ended up sleeping two downstairs on the couch but had to search for bedding and pillows for them to use. It just didn’t seem welcoming for a family of our size. The cleanliness was just ok, I could tell surfaces were not wiped down such as table in the main bedroom and floors weren’t vacuumed completely. I am picky when it comes to cleanliness. The back yard was unusable as there was dog feces everywhere. There was marker scribble on the wood wall towards the top of the stairs and the railing at the top of the stairs was loose as well as the towel bar in the bathroom. The heat was up when we first arrived and it made the place way too warm. Overall, it served its purpose as a place to stay while we were up for my oldest son’s graduation but I doubt we would stay there again.

FYI - We visited Fairbanks in the summer, to watch our son play baseball for the local summerball team. I have no info regarding a winter situation.The property was very clean and easy to get to. Rosario was quick in responding and helpful when we contacted her with questions about the property. It does only have 1 full bathroom with a bathtub/shower and one bathroom with only a toilet. I for some reason thought it had 2 full bathrooms. However, the 8 of us managed well.The living area is normal size for a home, not huge, but enough room for 8 of us when we used the dining area.

I would not concider this a luxury property. It was adiquate or our needs but nothing special. This property was difficult for a person with balance issues to enter. Would have been helpful to know that it was a 2 storyDuplex home. It was convientent to where we were going during our stay and shopping was close.
