Well appointed and beautifully decorated. Would love to stay there again
Nice Home for Launching
I stayed here with my brother for a long weekend of hiking & OHV. The attached 2 car garage is great if you want to keep your vehicles inside under lock and key. The unit itself was nice & clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were large and there was good hot water and water pressure. The laundry and dryer were very handy for washing dirty clothes. There were only two of us but would the rooms and common areas would accommodate up to 6 adults acceptably (but not spaciously). The WIFI worked well but TV only got two channels, which wasn't a big deal as we weren't really watching anything, but for some that may be an issue. We grilled one night on the grill & it was good to see it has a hard hookup so no worries about gas running out if we had grilled more.
You won't be disappointed!
My husband and I (and our Yorkie) had a wonderful vacation in Moab. This unit was extra clean and had everything needed to make our vacation perfect. There was a mountain view from the living area window. Just beautiful! Thank you for making our vacation one to remember!
Decent property, but needs a little more to be amazing.
I took two stars off because for the price we paid, the place could have been cleaner. We noticed the top comforters for the beds don't get washed between guests, and the cabinets were a touch sticky, as well as the counter top. Also we found broken glass in the dishwasher. There were also some old dog bones, as well as dog toys stuck in the sofa, and under the coffee table from a previous guest, but that was okay, my dog thought these gifts were left just for her! Also the pillows on the bed leave a lot to be desired, I highly recommend bringing your own pillows. Otherwise we arrived to clean sheets and towels, it was spacious, and made for a lovely weekend. It was awesome to have enough space to park the jeeps, and made for quick access to all the trails while being a bit outside the busy central part of town.
I found the kitchen to be well stocked with the basics for cooking (even a few spices, which was nice). The kitchen has two coffee makers, standard and a keurig, which was nice for our avid coffee drinkers on the trip, but you do need to purchase your own coffee.
We found the pool to be open, and we had access with the condo rental which was lovely. There is a washer and dryer but you will need to bring your own detergent and dryer sheets. There are very specific parameters on using the air conditioning. And there was some maintenance work being done on the porch for one day we were there, which was a bummer because we enjoyed eating dinner on the little patio, so it sort of unfortunate to lose that for one evening.
There is a grill with gas hookup that also needed some cleaning before we could use it, but it was fun to be able to grill.
Our neighbors for one night seemed to be unaware of the quiet time policy, and it made it a bit difficult to get some sleep that night.
There are extras of trash bags, and basic bathroom toiletries which was a pleasant surprise.
The neighborhood is very dog friendly, and it was super easy to get clean up bags as there are dog clean up stations all over. Super great for those early morning dog bathroom outings.
Overall we had a pleasant stay, but for the price it could have been a little more top notch.
Very nicely equipped unit
We really enjoyed the Grey Pearl. It is a nicely equipped condo that comfortably could sleep 3 couples. The kitchen had all we needed to cook with. We didn’t use the grill but noted it for future visits. The unit was very clean and well maintained. We were a little disappointed the community hot tub was closed for maintenance even though the day before we checked in we were told it would be open. The unit is South of town about 5 miles but it did not prevent us from exploring the area. Master bedroom bed was very comfy. When we return to Moab we hope to stay again.
Clean, close to the sights
This place was very clean and pretty close to the sights (it's on the south end of town, while Arches and Canyonlands are to the north -- but still an easy, quick drive). Well appointed with necessities in the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. The only critique is that while the king, queen and two twin beds are comfortable, the hide-a-bed and two rollaways are not (pokey springs). But it was great to have this place to come home to after long days exploring Arches and Canyonlands. Would absolutely recommend.
