We loved the place! It was clean, had everything we needed for a week stay. The location, on the beach, close to Island Market to pick up a few things. Easy to check in and out. Highly recommend!!

Fabulous and clean! It is an older property but has a perfect spot in the beach.

Easy access to the beach, there is an elevator! Great place in town also. We can access all areas in town easily. Also, about a few miles north there is drive on beach access, with a 4x4 vehicle you can find a little piece of quiet beach heaven!

Excellent views

When walking in the door, i was overcome by the view out of the patio door. The property was well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. 10 out of 10. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice place

Very comfortable place for the two of us. Always love staying in a condo on the beach. A little outdated though. Needs new electrical outlets an blinds on the window in the bedroom.

Great location

The condo is exactly as pictured and has a great location to the beach and restaurants and bars. However, the sofa bed needs to be replaced and there needs to be a more substantial curtain in the bedroom. People traveling to the elevator can see right into the bedroom window.

The place we stayed was exactly as it showed on the website. It was clean and it had a private beach!! That was not expected. It also had a hot tub and a pool. But who needs a pool when the beach is right there?! We had an excellant time and are already planning a trip there next year.

On The Beach Get Away

The condo was somewhat "dated" with original cabinets & fixtures. The bed could use a new mattress, but overall it was a great value, clean, and right on the beach with a truly awesome "front row view" of the ocean from the 7th floor. As a one bedroom, I would suggest only a two persons stay though there is capacity to sleep four. (Only one bathroom.) I would definitely stay there again!

Good bang for the buck

It’s not luxury but ur not paying for it. Clean well kept apartment and the grounds r well maintained. I wish the water in the spa was hot in the AM. I can’t comment on property management because everything worked well. Please put grab bars at tub to help get in and out. 👍

I can only echo what others have said. The location is wonderful right on the beach.If they want 5 star reviews they need to update this condo. The electrical outlets are terrible. Many don’t work and this is important in this day of electronic devices. The curtain in the bedroom NEEDS REPLACED! YOU CAN SEE THRU IT FROM THE OUTSIDE!!Others have complained about this unit but nothing has been done. It really needs updated. I guess the owners don’t care or they would do it.

My husband & I loved this place but our priorities were on beach, comfy bed & price. It was exactly that. It is not fancy & clearly an older building but if you don’t care about that, then this place is it. We spent all of our time on the beach or on the balcony watching the waves. The bed was a bonus but wow! The bedroom window does still need something more as the see through curtain felt like people could see us but other than that I would stay here sgain!

The Corps of Engineers were doing a beach project whic caused to walk a good distance just to het to the beach. It was disappointing that we were never informed. Orherwise the property was what we expected of an older building. Hence, the price was reasonable.

NOT WORTH RATING!!! Very dated, No Hot Water for your showers. No parking. Very open property, so didn't feel safe when couldn't find a place to park. Parking Garage very small and inconvenient. (hard to park) Anyone can walk up and get on elevator to go to your room. No gates. VERY OVER PRICED FOR THE ACCOMMODATIONS!!!!

I am sorry to hear that you did not love your stay here on South Padre Island. We try to do our best to set our guest expectation when renting a condo and I am sorry we were not able to be as clear as you like. The condo has such an amazing view and excellent price point that most of our renters have really enjoyed and valued their stay in this condo. The pictures do show the condo exactly how it is, I understand that we do not have new flat top stoves or stainless steel refrigerators, however, we make sure the savings are passed on to the guest. As you experienced, we do get busy during the summer and parking at the condo is limited, but there is additional parking directly across the street. We are aware that the garage is small and are careful not to advertise it as having covered parking. We do give you all the parking information when you checked in, I am sorry if you overlooked that information. Again, I am so sorry that you did not enjoy your stay.

Dump!

Sand in the bathroom when we arrived, dirty kitchen sink, grease swipe on the microwave, dirty glasses in the cupboard, black mold on the old crap plastic patio chairs, difficult (likely broken) pull out sofa. Rust on the refrigerator, sand in the bedroom closet, bath tub faucet barely operational, poor water flow in the shower.....very uncared for property. We have rented a lot of properties with VRBO and this was our first bad experience. All the other condos had decent patio furniture on the balconies. Not worth the money!!!!!! The rental staff were very friendly and told us we couldn’t check in until it was inspected for cleanliness.....bull! The place was filthy and had been for some time.

We LOVED this place! We desired a beautiful beach/ocean view AND a short walk to the beach for quick access. No more dragging lots of heavy items across a longer walk like from other beach hotels. This was perfect. Condo has a full kitchen with stove, fridge, sink, dishes, utensils, coffee maker. YES, everything is old, but it works. It smelled and looked clean and pretty upon our arrival. Towels were fluffy and we did use the Towel/sheet exchange at the office when needed. Bedroom closet is huge for storing luggage, etc. Enjoyed having morning coffee on the patio with ample seating and ocean view. After a beachy day, the hot tub and lap pool also have the ocean view and seating and were very relaxing. Smart TVs were in living area and bedroom, so they were upgraded since property photos were taken. (We didn't watch tv.) We love to play boardgames, and there is lots of shelving in living room. Only complaint is the sliding bedroom door "locks" you in when completely closed, so you must pull it in from the bottom while sliding it back closed. PLEASE fix this. It did look like they addressed the ceiling mold mentioned in older reviews. I could see evidence of Kilz over old faded spots in back bedroom. I'm very allergic to mold and had no issues there at all. Property could kilz/repaint for aesthetic reasons. We will be staying here again. Thanks for a great vacation!

Anniversary trip

We take a trip every year for our anniversary and South Padre Island is one of our favorite destinations. Our stay at Sadia I was great. We had a great view over the pool area and out to the ocean. It was a short walk to the beach and not over crowded. Great trip will definately be back.

Great location! What a view!

Although the apartment could definitely use some TLC, the location (and view) is perfect. It was not humid while we were there, yet the windows in the condo were dripping, because there is no ventilation except the door to the balcony, which. according to information from management, must be kept closed. We did open the window in the corner of the bedroom, but that was not effective because it opened to the hallway so we had to keep the curtains drawn. Therefore, there was mold on the walls, along the baseboards, etc. The pool, hot tub, elevators, garage floor and common areas were SPOTLESS, thanks to the efforts of Arturo, the groundskeeper. He was so friendly and his recommendations for good eating places were spot on. There are so many fun things to do. My granddaughter's favorite thing was the Sea Turtle Rescue. At age 23, she was the youngest person on the island this time of year (Feb). My husband's was driving our car on the beach. Mine was enjoying the sun on our balcony in the morning, the Sea Turtle release, and the bird sanctuary/ lagoon walk where I spotted an alligator. There are a couple of nice coffee shops, one within walking distance, of course great restaurants, and hit the bars on the lagoon side for drinks and the sunsets, but go early as they are packed! Also you'll avoid the pesky gulls that hit the beach bars on the oceanside.
