The Perfect House made for the Perfect Stay. Everything was just amazing and nothing could have made it better. Will stay here again next year when we return for 2026. The Host was very nice and attended to all our needs. It was a perfect trip !!!!
This house was exactly as described. It was very clean, great location, in a very quiet neighbourhood. Hosts were awesome and very accommodating. Highly recommend if you are planning a trip to the area.
It was a great location, the hosts were very accommodating and quiet neighbors. The place was spotless. They provided a big ol’ basket of snacks for all of our youth, and were kind enough to allow me to cram a couple extra planned youth in on our trip. They really made this trip quite enjoyable for us 😊
Great house, in a great location. Easy access to a variety of sights in the Palmer / Wasilla area. This home is beautiful with plenty of space for the family not to feel cramped. Beautiful views from the deck & master bedroom windows. Sena could not of been more accommodating! Great stay! Highly recommend!
The check-in/ check-out was smooth. We were a group of six adults who had never traveled together. The home and furnishings met our needs exceptionally well. Overall we had a great experience.
This was a wonderful experience. The home was spacious, VERY clean. We personally met the owners and they were so friendly. Our flight was delayed so we got in much later than expected, but there was bottled water in the refrigerator and snacks left out on the counter. We were so grateful because we were too tired to stop to grab anything. Plenty of towels, paper plates, utensils, cookware, and silverware. It was like our home away from home. Oh yes, there were also fresh picked flowers in the kitchen window and beautiful hanging baskets on the front porch. We watched many birds and a squirrel came right up to the porch. What a wonderful time! Thanks so much!
We loved our stay! Tim and Sena were the best hosts. Great communication and had everything we needed and more. Their home is beautiful! So comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. Our kids could ride their bikes on the street and they loved being able to play basketball. The home is right in between Palmer and Wasilla and that was great too. Close driving distance to many places. Lots of great hikes in the area too. We would love to go back. Thanks Sena for all you did to make us feel right at home.
The property is beautiful, and we enjoyed staying there. We were 2 couples over 70, and found the steps were very steep to the upstairs. Also the step down into the living room is dangerous, and needs better identification. We had 3 falls by stepping off the unmarked flooring. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The deck off of the kitchen is well planned for relaxing, even including a gas grill. The owner notes that they have a business in the garage and they will be in and out. Still found it to be a privacy issue. The owners are responsive and concerned about the quality of your experience, and are very helpful. After talking with her regarding the dangers of the step down, I feel they will be improving that issue.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
The home itself is gorgeous. Lots of space, a quiet road. Comfortably sleeps 8 people with room to dine and sit together as a family. The downside? The homeowners live 50 ft off the back deck in a garage/apartment conversion and share the driveway with the VRBO rental. We didnt find this out until we landed and arrived at the VRBO at midnight, after a 14 hr travel day. Ok, we're chill people, no worries. We met the owners many times over the 10 days. We avoided the back deck and fire pit, because it was all shared with the homeowner. We spent most of our time on the front porch/yard area, to not feel like intruders as the hosts had many guests in that area during our stay. Last weekend of our trip, the homeowners had several cars coming and going all day that Friday. People getting firewood. Bringing boats. Taking boats out. Taking 4x4s out. Bringing 4x4s back. Switching trailers. I cant attest for most of the 10 days at the house, as we were out of the house for most of the day, everyday. But Friday, I felt like we couldnt even be out on the front porch, because people kept coming up to us, asking for the homeowner and parking their vehicles behind ours, blocking the entire driveway, while they went to find them. There were also about 10 packages delivered to the VRBO, over about 2 days that we held and had to get to the homeowner. The owner seeme to water flowers everytime we were out front and stayed until we would go inside or she finished. Overall, not what we expected

Oh my! Based on the facts, there are some definite errors here.
*We do not stay 50 feet away from the home. Our neighbors live closer to the home than we do.
*We don't share the back deck or fire pit. We don't even have windows facing in the direction of the home.
*We had two guests with two vehicles visit. We were gone fishing all weekend, so I know nothing of all of these people coming and going that you speak of. All of your pictures are of your vehicles and your people. Not once did we block the driveway. We only share the entrance, and had to ask you to move your vehicle so we could get out. As you can see from your picture, there is plenty of parking and no need to block the entrance.
*I know of no one who would be parking in our yard or asking you about us, unless they were solicitors. *There were 3 packages delivered, and our guest manual clearly states to "leave the packages that are addressed to us, and we will do the same for you."
*I watered the flowers one time while you were on the front porch because they were dying, and you had people on the porch from 7am until after midnight almost daily. It was clear that you were rotating in and out to smoke pot. I appreciate the fact that you did not smoke in the house.
We did not appreciate the fact that you told us there would be 8 people and you had 9. and you were not honest about your check out time. I'm sorry our home was not what you expected. Please consider accurately describing future visits at other properties as those who read these reviews value honesty.

Why they chose this property
Our home is in a quiet neighborhood with acre-sized lots. We feel somewhat secluded with a large yard surrounded by trees and mountains, yet are close to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.
