Wash and put away used dishes, clean grill rack. Put all trash inside the cans located at the side porch. Empty dresser drawers, check under beds, collect personal chargers, cords, devices.

Place used sheets & towels inside the washer & leave overflow on floor near dryer. Leave blankets, duvets and throws where originally found.

Turn off stove, TV's, AC/heaters, fans, lights. Return remote controls to the coffee table. Lock windows and CLOSE blinds and curtains. Securely shut both doors. Let's both aim for 5-star reviews!

Thanksgiving with Family

This is a great little location. I'm originally from the area and still have family here. The villa is centrally located providing easy access to Covington, the mountains, and is less than 5 minutes from Clifton Forge shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

At first sight I saw a unit that needed a new roof and siding. Scared me until we went inside, where the unit was ultra clean and good for my 11 month granddaughter. granddaughter

Michael, thanks again for visiting the Verge St. Villa! The unit is inspected regularly by licensed and credentialed professionals to include an insurance adjuster, roofer, plumber, HVAC, general contractor as well as the property management crew. To my delight, the roofer and electrician always provide compliments on the interior and exterior, stating that the unit has a very good structure, good roof condition, and excellent insulation to protect against cold climate temperatures. It does my heart good to know that you and your guests enjoyed a clean and comfortable stay and felt it was comfortable and safe for your granddaughter - comfort and safety is our #1 priority. We'd love for you to return if you're ever visiting Allegany County again.

July 4th family visit

The house is in a perfect area to get to any thing you need for a quick fix. Very quaint.Larger inside than appears, needs more warning signs for elderly (step up-down), plenty of parking, not sure if owner is aware, but the property has plenty of moles /groundhogs. We seen them and they are super cute, however for safety concerns… there are some uneven spots in the ground.. I am making these notations because my mom came to visit and I didnt want her to twist her ankle or anything.Beds are full.. Not Queen. Tv’s all through house which is AMAZING!!! Bathroom is a bit small but gets the job done. If you are a fair amount overweight..It can be challenging.There are AC’s in the house and plenty of fans to acommodate if need be but the AC is not centralized so the house has uneven temps in the summer. Actually not a problem at all if you dont have any kind of issues with heat. Some people have medical conditions so just sharing because this is very important. I dont do anything to rental properties to break rules, etc. but I dont like the camera watching who is coming and going. My trips to the area are only to visit family but still…Thought the cleaning fee was a bit excessive for the size of the house as well as taking the trash up the hill. I always wipe down the kitchen and take out the trash. It is perfect for younger people with no heat issues…

Hi, thank you again for choosing Verge St. Villa for your 4th of July stay! I’m glad you enjoyed the location, space, and TVs throughout the house—perfect for family time. Thanks for your feedback! A couple quick clarifications for future guests: the beds are doubles, not queens (thanks for catching that). We have a ramp and flat parking right by the side porch, ideal for anyone with mobility needs—just let me know in advance, and I’ll help you get settled. (Groundhogs and holes exist nearby but not on the property.) Interior steps remain clearly marked with black and yellow tape for safety. The property is flat with no hills, so trash should be left by the side porch at checkout. It looks like the bins were moved by mistake, but our cleaner took care of them. Guests staying longer may use the dedicated area. Food was found in the oven after checkout, and the cleaner thoroughly cleaned it—please double-check appliances before leaving to help us out! We have two mini-split AC/heater units plus fans; no central air, but most guests find it comfortable. Thanks for letting me know your request for a lower temperature during your stay and for your patience with the temporary solution to avoid freezing coils or damaging the units. The exterior lights and cameras are only for security when no one’s home and are not used to monitor guests. The cleaning fee covers full cleaning, laundry, and making sure everything’s spotless for the next guest. Thanks again for staying with us!
