Rustic cabin with stunning sunset views of Priest Lake
Rustic Priest Lake Cabin with Private Shoreline and Dock
Escape to a cozy family cabin on the peaceful west shore of Priest Lake. With more than 100 feet of private shoreline, beautiful lake views, and direct access to the water, this is a wonderful place to unplug, slow down, and enjoy the outdoors.
The cabin sleeps up to six guests and is best suited for two couples or families with older children. Spend your days swimming from the rocky shoreline, relaxing on the sturdy newer dock, exploring nearby trails, fishing, water skiing, or visiting the lake’s boat-access-only beaches and resorts.
Bringing or renting a boat is highly recommended. This end of Priest Lake provides convenient access to some of the area’s best boating, fishing, beaches, and waterfront destinations. Please note that the property has a natural rocky shoreline rather than a sandy beach.
Sleeping Arrangements
The main cabin includes a loft bedroom with two double beds. The loft is open to the stairway and offers limited privacy.
A separate lower bedroom is located beneath the deck. This room provides much more privacy but is completely detached from the main cabin. Guests staying there must go outside and climb the deck stairs to reach the main living area and bathroom.
Rustic Cabin Amenities
This is a simple, rustic family cabin rather than a luxury resort, but it includes the essentials for a comfortable lake getaway:
Refrigerator, microwave, and electric range Propane grill on the deck Cookware, utensils, and dishware Indoor bathroom Dock and direct lake access
The running water is not filtered or approved for drinking. Guests must bring drinking water or boil the cabin water before consuming it.
Cell Service and Internet Access
Verizon service is generally excellent because a Verizon tower is located directly across the lake. Guests can typically use a Verizon phone or hotspot for reliable internet access. Other cellular providers may have little or no service.
Important Property Information
The cabin is built on a steep hillside, with a significant number of stairs between the driveway, cabin, and lake. The driveway is also steep, although four-wheel drive is not normally required.
There is no room to turn around at the bottom of the driveway, so guests must either back in or back out. Additional parking is available at the top of the driveway.
Because of the steep terrain, stairs, open loft, rocky shoreline, and abundant wildlife, the property is not recommended for families with small children. The cabin is not wheelchair accessible or suitable for guests with limited mobility.
Wildlife is common in the area. Food should never be left outside, and all trash must be secured in the provided bear-resistant cage whenever it is not inside the cabin.
