Honeymoon Studio Jacuzzi Cabin, with Hot Tub inDisney Ok

Bedrooms Studio
Property type cottage
Minimum Stay 2 nights

About the property

Cottage, Studio, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2)

When the Spillways are open the sound of the water is magnificent. This sound was always my motivation for the placement of a cabin on this beautiful property. This cabin sleeps 2. The Studio Cabin is in a park like setting. Up againist the GRDA East Spillway line for those who like to hike and explore the area. The cabin is all new with rustic siding on the outside, nice appointments for your comfort and fresh pine interior paneling. French doors coupled with 2 large windows allow for a full view to the GRDA land, and, spillway access. The cabin is wrapped on 2 sides with a covered deck, with fans for your comfort as well. Lake access is about 1/4 mile away.

The jacuzzi is loaded with all the options, its own heater, to air bubbles, lights, and of course the jets. If its not your pleasure to utilize the jacuzzi, then there is the shower that awaits you, as the tankless hot water heater will not run out of hot water.

The Heat and Air Conditioner is a contemporary mini-split or sometimes called a "Ductless" system. All of its settings are by remote control at your bedside. This system operates with a whisper.

Now we have installed a hot tub on the deck under the porch roof. It is a Solana TX by Hot Springs designed for 2.

The spillway area at Disney is well known for its terrain as a trail jeep haven. The Little Blue always has some water making its way to Grand River.

This is not a lake front nor lake view property, but certainly peaceful, private, and direct access to the rugged spillway grounds for your adventure, yet the lake is closeby.

Although the kitchen does not have an oven, it does have a cook top, toaster, microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator.

Located on approx 2 acres on the GRDA Spillway line, below the Pensacola Dam, or Grand River Dam, but not within view. When one or both of the east spillway have a number of gates opened by the GRDA, the sound of the water rapids is wonderful. We have a 2 person Hot Tub, and Tree Lights to add ambiance for that perfect touch.

First tiny house experience - Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed this secluded, clean, comfortable hidden secret! Everything was perfect the whole weekend, even the weather. The trails four atv's were across the fence and very fun for riding or walking. The sound of the water rushing by the cabin was great. We had a fire and Greg has thought of everything, even the lit up backyard is atmospheric. Can't wait to go back.

Best place

  • 5 of 5

I compared prices to other local cabins. For the money I think this is the Best Buy. However I haven't stayed at the others. I was a little concerned about not Parking my trailer n rzr by the cabin to keep an eye on it but it was only 50 ft away. Very secluded and secure feeling so didn't worry much about it. Wasn't an issue like I thought. Hot tub worked great. Had a nice grill to use. Fire pit. Had lighting up in the trees you could turn on. Deer was out front in the morning when we woke up. My wife and son had a great time. Would recommend and will stay again! Got refund in 4 days

You have to see the spillways

  • 5 of 5

I took my boyfriend here for a getaway birthday weekend.

When we first pulled up I was a little worried it wouldn't be as secluded as we'd like.

However, the cabin faces away from the other house towards trees and a riverbed. No one can see you on the deck or through the windows. I never even heard any of the neighbors cars or saw another person.

It is very private.

Hottub perfect for 2. And they supply everything you need, just bring food.

They gave us directions to the spillways, and you HAVE to go. It was like a scene from a fairytale movie. The water was clear and blue. There's even a rope swing! It was magical.

i honestly didn't want to leave, it was so beautiful.

We had the best time in this tiny cozy cabin.

Would definitely visit again.

We even got to bring the dog! (;

Perfect little getaway.

  • 5 of 5

Everything was as described and effortless. Never had to call Greg or Patricia. Very detailed instructions/directions/even a bunch of information of things to do/see and places to eat or get groceries. We went for our 5th anniversary and had a great time. The dam was open and you could hear the water running from the deck. Very peaceful! Very happy and would like to come back. Can park your vehicles on the GRDA side of the property and take your offroad toys straight to the Disney offroad park which was really nice. Very neat place and cant beat the price and the jacuzzi and hot tob is awesome. Deposit was returned and we really dont have one complaint. Thank you!

We'll be back!

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful place for a mini vacation! This cabin was just what my husband and I were looking for! We only stayed for a couple of days, but it was such a relaxing and low-key place to be. Greg was great about providing tons of information not only in regards to the cabin, but also about restaurants and outdoor activities in the area. He was also very quick to answer any questions that I had while planning our trip.

Our two dogs came with us and enjoyed the area as well. We loved exploring the spillways, although we were a little disappointed that they were not open during our time there, but it was still a unique experience. There were a few other parks in the area where we did some hiking.

The cabin had everything that one might need. The only thing we brought extra was our crockpot. The hot tub and Jacuzzi were a nice bonus. Although cozy in size (it was perfect for us), there is a loft in the cabin where you could sleep instead of the bed or just store your bags in that area. As others have suggested, it would be nice if there were curtains on the windows and doors. With the porch shades down, we felt that privacy was not an issue, but it would have made us a little more comfortable with the curtains.

Another plus for us was that the location was only a little over an hour from our home. Made for an easy trip! We would also suggest traveling to Adair, OK and visiting the Blue Coyote Winery and the Crooked Little House (pecan grove and shop). Both places were only about 30 minutes from the cabin and were very fun to visit!

We will definitely be returning to stay and would recommend this cabin to anyone!
