An affordable family vacay is possible at the lake!
What could be better for your soul than swimming, campfires, and kayaking?! The paddleboat, canoe and kayak are already included, so BYO food and drinks and make it your own "All Inclusive"!

Lakefront cabin on 3 1/2 acres with a great view of the lake with a private guest dock and boat ramp!

Our cabin has a wall of windows in the sun room that give you a full view of Lake Hudson, the hidden gem of northeast Oklahoma!

"He leads me beside still waters...", a place of recreation and restoration!

The master bedroom has it's own full bath with shower and garden tub. The 2nd bedroom sleeps 2 people and has access to the 2nd full bath that has a full laundry area with washer/dryer. There is an inflatable queen mattress for 2 more people. There is also a log bunk bed in the sun room for extra sleeping.
The kitchen has a gas cook top and oven, and is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, microwave and small appliances.

There is Wi-Fi, DVD player with a full selection of movies for your enjoyment, as well as a smart TV with free apps. You can also access your own subscription services. There's also a few board games for some good family fun!

The cabin is conveniently located about 15 miles from the Mid-America Industrial Park and Google facility, and is the perfect solution for the long term rental needs of temporary employees working on special projects. (Contact owner for prices on extended stays.)

There is an RV pad up by the cabin with gazebo for outdoor dining and relaxing, and an outdoor shower. This site only rents with the cabin for larger families that bring RVs for additional sleeping.

The RV pads at the lake have full hook-ups with septic access. These pads are exclusively reserved for friends and family of cabin guests who need expanded space, or for use by our friends and family, so you'll always have the dock area to yourself. Contact us for more info and availability.

The bathroom and outdoor shower at lake's edge is available for all cabin guests.

Outdoor fun includes swimming off the guest dock, boating, campfires in the fire pit by the gazebo and yard games like croquet and horseshoes. There is a canoe, kayak and paddle boat available for free use. A small fishing boat with trolling motor is also available for a small rental fee.

Guest access:
Cabin guests have exclusive use of gazebo and all facilities up by the cabin, the large grassy field, as well as private use of the guest dock and swimming area by the boat ramp.

Interaction with guests:
We frequently stay in our 5th wheel at lakes edge and are available if you need anything, or can be reached by cell phone. Whenever possible, we do enjoy meeting our guests when they first arrive, but allow for your privacy during your stay. We've made many new friends since we started renting the cabin in 2015!

We have created many wonderful memories here with friends and family for the past 19 years, and now welcome you to enjoy it as well!

Peaceful Retreat

My husband and I had a quick getaway weekend. This cabin is very clean, quaint and cozy. The view is beautiful and the area is quiet and peaceful. We were attending an event in Pryor and it’s still too chilly to enjoy the water but we could tell it would be a wonderful place fur swimming, fishing and boating.

Perfect trip to lake Hudson

Very special place that has a private boat ramp and dock just minutes from the house. Beautiful open yard with no stickers or debris. Lovely gazebo and fire pit. A great place for the kids to run and play. Fishing was good. We mostly caught blue cats. Will definitely come again. Joy was speedy at returning calls and everything worked as it should.

Great time!

We loved the property and are already chatting about booking it again! We brought a little wagon to move things from the home to the water. It’s a very brief walk, but long enough to not want to do it with an arm full of floats and snacks.

Just what we needed

The house, property and lake access were all amazing. So many amenities. We enjoyed the paddle boat, kayak and inner tube. Communication with the host was good and prompt. Wifi was a little sketchy and that made some college work a little difficult! Such a great place we would come back again!

Beautiful property. John and Joy sure have taken care of the place. So relaxing! They have thought of EVERYTHING! Luckily we brought alot of our own stuff. But if you forget it. Chances are Joy has it there. The kids had a ball jumping off the dock. We had to dodge mayflies and spiders on the dock at night(catching mayflies). But its Oklahoma.. lol. The home itself was so clean! We had a little difficulty getting some tv apps to work for the kids but we figured something out. They even had a big box of toys for the little one. Im tellin ya. John and Joy have thought of it all.Very pleased with our stay, and Joy was super nice and easy to work with. We will definitely be back again!

Park like setting

The house and immediate surroundings were very nice. Gazing out the large picture windows was like looking at a park. The gazebo and fire pit were well maintained. A short drive on the property's road and you are at the water's edge, perfect for boat owners with their own ramp. Water entry is smooth with small rocks so you are not sinking in mud. The water side facilities could have been better maintained. We wish we had brought our spider spray with the webs on the dock and fish cleaning area.. But that is outside living and the water was great.

Beautiful property

The weather didn't fully cooperate but we really enjoyed our weekend stay. It was nice to get out after being shut-in by the virus restrictions. It was great being out in the country. We enjoyed bird watching, walking the property, fishing, using the pedal boat, bon fires and grilling. The water was up and full of debris the first two days so fishing wasn't great. However, even though the water was choppy due to high winds, my daughter caught several nice catfish the last day and a half. I'm sure when it's warmer swimming and canoeing would also be great. Joy was easy to communicate with and dropped by with extra paper towels one day. The cabin was nice with plenty of room and then some for the 4 of us. It's well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, games and laundry supplies. We would definitely consider returning in the future.

Great Property

We only had 2 regrets. 1) Despite Joys reminder to bring coffee, I somehow managed to purchase instant coffee instead of the real deal - yuck. 2) I wish we could have spent more time there. We’ll just have to plan another trip. The accommodations and property were wonderful for us. Though it, rained all day the day we arrived and the next morning, the Sun came out for us in the afternoon so we made use of the Canoe and Paddle boat. My daughter was excited to gather pecans, unfortunately they were too wet from the rain. But if your lucky enough to be there on a dry weekend they were plentiful. We also made use of the fire pit in the evening for conversation. It was a wonderful place to meet up with and visit with my daughter who is currently a college student in Tulsa. My 12 Yo has a blast fishing and just being a boy on the lake. I did the cooking and was impressed by the quality of the cookware. I hope that we do have an opportunity to visit the property again before my daughter graduates. Thank You

Hospitality Abounds

We especially liked the "homey feeling" of this place. We have stayed at a lot of VRBOs that were strictly "investment properties " with no personal touches.. just bare bones. You can tell this place has been lived in and cared for. Many details have been thought of to add extra convenience..even down to the cupboards having some staple food items and a closet full of extra items that may come in handy. The cabin was very clean and smelled fresh. We also really appreciated late check out @noon. It gave us plenty of time for a leisurely morning without having to rush around and be out by 10 like many places we have stayed. Owners were very friendly but not intrusive. They stayed in their camper down by the lake the first night but we barely knew they were there. We had the place to ourselves the rest of the time. The only initial dissapointment was that we thought the cabin was right along the lake front. The cabin sets back from the lake quite a distance. Its a little bit of a walk down to the lake, but once there you have the dock, hammock, etc. Just don't expect to be able to sit in the cabin and see much of the lake. So I would describe it as lake front but not lake view cabin. There is a nice picnic shelter and campfire ringWe brought our kayaks and 4 wheelers. The lake is perfect for kayaking as there were hardly any speedboats. Very quiet and calm. This area is very friendly towards riding 4 wheelers out on the country roads as long as you are driving responsibly. There are several good 4 wheeling trails nearby. The peace and quiet of this place was wonderful. We hope to go back again.

New boat

We have a new bass boat and wanted a weekend getaway to try it out. This is a nice quiet lake and with the help of Joy, we were able to navigate the lake and find some fishing spots. All the men caught fish! I enjoyed the quiet to do some hand work and my daughter took the time to actually read without interruption. Good functional kitchen, so we never went hungry. Beautiful view of the lake. One night we grilled outside and had a picnic. We had a great time!

This property has access to your own private dock for fishing and swimming. It also has a nice outside area for relaxing around the fireplace. Plus a beautiful view from in the house. All you need for a lake getaway!

We had a wonderful time at this property. We took our 3 boys. 5,8,10 years old. And the grandparents. We had a great time jumping off of the dock and swimming. Owners are friendly and available if needed. We rented a boat at Grand lake one day. It was a 25 minute drive. We really enjoyed our time. Hoping to come back again.

DO IT ITS SO WORTH IT!

this place was just the absolute best! We loved it and the house was so cute and cozy! Very clean no complaints at all!!! The home owners were very sweet and kind. They did not intrude or invade any one’s privacy at all but they were there if you needed them! Very fast at replying if any questions were asked! The swimming area was great we had an 8 yo and a 2 yo and they loved it! Our favorite was jumping off the dock! Definitely a must! Makes you feel young again! Family friendly environment again no complaints at all highly recommend staying here and we will be staying again!

I don’t think there is a single bad thing to say. Excellent people at an excellent place. Water was cold still, but that’s not their fault. Beautiful, peaceful place that was perfect to spend a weekend with family and friends. We had kids ranging from 8 months to 17 years old visit and everyone had a great time! Bring toys/puzzles the littles can play with while at the house, kid friendly DVDs if they have favorites, but beyond that, the house had everything a person could need.

Relaxing Getaway

We really enjoyed our visit. The property has a beautiful view of the lake and there was a lot of wildlife to see and the fishing was great. With a quick walk, you can fish off the dock. The property owners are very friendly and accommodating.
