Always wear shoes on the deck nails and splinters, and if you want to cook outside bring your own means of doing it that electric grill is not good besides that everything else was great

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed your stay.
Our deck is natural wood, and because we are directly on Grand Lake, we do not paint it. Painted decks in our environment tend to trap moisture, peel, and become slippery when wet, so we choose to maintain the natural wood instead. We do recommend wearing shoes outdoors, as many guests do on any wood deck.
The grill is a propane grill, not an electric grill. It is cleaned and maintained regularly, and we ask guests to clean it before and after use. Like any propane grill, cooking high-fat foods requires normal grilling precautions, and the fitted cover should only be replaced after the grill has completely cooled. During your stay, the cover was placed on the hot grill, which caused it to melt.
Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you all the best.
Two sisters and their spouses spent a long weekend at this property. The cabin was exceptionally clean for a lakeside property. Everything was in working order and roomy for our visit and domino games. We appreciated being able to bring our pup with us. Our weekend was most relaxing!
Overall, our stay was okay. Our first impression was that it felt cozy, and the views were beautiful. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, the grill, and the easy dock access. As our stay went on, though, we felt there were a few things that weren’t accurately described. The listing refers to it as a cabin, but it is actually a trailer home, which was unexpected. There were several cracks where larger bugs were getting inside, and we noticed quite a few gnats and other bugs from the moment we arrived. There were several old spiderwebs throughout the inside and outside of the house that just should be knocked down before a guest starts their stay. The shower drain didn’t work properly, and there was a section of the ceiling in the back room that looked like it may have water damage and was beginning to sag. There was hand soap provided, but there wasn’t enough body wash for the number of guests staying at the property.Additionally, in the back room there was a AC unit on the window/wall and it was dripping water on to the bed.Overall, while there were definitely things we enjoyed about the property, we were a bit underwhelmed by the condition and cleanliness. With a few maintenance repairs, better pest control, and more attention to cleaning and supplies, it could be a much better experience.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear your stay didn't meet your expectations.
We do wish we had been notified during your stay about the shower drain and the mini-split (not a window unit). Our cleaner discovered the drain issue and AC after your departure and contacted maintenance immediately. Both are items we could have addressed quickly had we been made aware during your stay.
The home originally was an RV that has been fully enclosed and added onto with new exterior walls, wood siding, and a metal roof. The age and SF is disclosed in the listing. The interior wall paneling has decorative grooves that may appear as "cracks," but they are part of the design and are not structural damage.
As for insects, the property is located in the country on a lake. We have professional pest control service monthly, and while we remove any spider webs during every cleaning, spiders can rebuild a web in just a few hours—something that's difficult to prevent completely in this setting.
We appreciate all feedback, as it helps us continue maintaining the property for future guests.

We were very impressed with the cabin! It was clean and had everything we needed for a most pleasant stay. The hosts are top notch and we would stay here again if we’re ever in the area! 5 stars!!
FANTASTIC!!! We absolutely loved this place. Host was wonderful with communication the entire stay. Loved having a boat slip available for our boat. Cabin itself was fully stocked wirh all we needed to cook and enjoy our time away comfortably. We WILL definitely be back again and again!!
Need hooks for hanging clothes in the bedrooms and jackets at the entrance. Also need hooks and wall caddy for the shower. Need spices on a lower shelf for us short people. Beautiful lake view, deck, and fire guard. Loved the cabin; I would stay there again. Thank you!

Thank you so much for the kind review! We’re thrilled you enjoyed the lake view, deck, and cozy cabin. As mentioned in our listing, this little place is a work in progress — every guest helps us make it a bit better. There are hooks hiding on the backs of the bedroom and bathroom doors, but sounds like we may need to add a few more. We don’t actually supply spices, and since space is limited in this tiny home, a previous guest decided the top shelf was the best option — we’ll look into better placement for our vertically gifted and vertically challenged guests alike. Thanks again for the helpful feedback and for being such a gracious guest. We’d love to have you back anytime!
We stayed here for 3 nights to enjoy some riding out on the rocks with the kids!! The host was excellent with communication and helping us with anything we needed! The property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay and to be able to make our meals while there. Loved the hot tub and the lake views!! It was too cold while we were there but I want to definitely book again to take advantage of the lake access!!
We chose this location because of the view of the lake, privacy, lake access for fishing and dog friendly. Unfortunately for us they were having a dock built during our stay which limited our privacy and ability to fish. The dock got finished so that won’t be an issue going forward, just bad timing. The owners are very nice! Appreciated the attention to detail like having multiple types of chargers available on the nightstand, extra hair ties in the bathroom, dog bowls and tray for our pup :) and more. We enjoyed our stay and would choose this location again.
Beautiful property! Great dock - a little low if you have a canopy in your boat. Driveway is steep but not dangerous. Host was very responsive to questions.
