Amazing location with beautiful views of the city and mountains. They go above and beyond with providing you what you need and were very accommodating. Definitely recommend the stay!
Penelope’s place is one of the best VRBO’s I have ever stayed in. It’s a bit of an adventure driving up onto the property but it’s worth it for the fantastic views. She has supplied her place with just about anything you need for a stay there. We used Uber to get to Dodger Stadium and left the car parked. All in all I would very highly recommend Penelope’s place and would love to return sometime
Great views from this hilltop location overlooking downtown and the Hollywood hills. Home was well stocked with amenities which we appreciated. We were surprised how peaceful it was while still being close to most of our activities.
Amazing time at this clean house, nicely decorated, great view, and fun pool to splash in
The house was very clean and the decoration is nicely done. A very cute house.
My kids loved the pool, they didn’t want to get out.
We loved the outdoor spaces and the view is amazing.
host was easy to reach and very gracious.
One of my best rental experiences ever!
This home was our sanctuary for a month. We were displaced by the recent fires and staying here was respite in the truest sense. It's quiet, spacious and clean, and the views from the living room are amazing. We loved ending each night staring out at the sparkling city skyline. Thank you to our wonderful and communicative hosts. I will recommend this place to friends and relatives visiting LA in the future!
The house has an awesome updated interior, really nice bathroom and kitchen. The rooms are comfortable with large beds and the house was stocked with comfort items like robes, coffee, tea, snacks etc. The best part of the property are the views of downtown and how conveniently located it is. We came to see a concert at crypto arena and it was only a $20 Uber ride. 10/10 would love to come back and stay here again.
The house was perfect for our week visiting our son. It was within walking distance of his place. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the views from the backyard and front porch, and every aspect of this beautiful house. It was by far the most well stocked rental we’ve ever stayed in. Slept great, perfect soaking tub, A/C was a huge plus in the heat of summer. Also having the laundry room and all the extras - like pool towels, bug spray etc etc. it was perfect! We hope to come back!
My husband and I have stayed at a number of rental properties over the last several years, but Penelope's home ranks the highest for customer comfort. Every corner has a little treasure you might have forgotten to pack or pick up at the store. We stayed in this wonderful home for nearly 3 weeks and it was excellent. I was even there alone for 3 nights. The views out the front door of downtown LA rival the views out the kitchen window of moonrises and morning light. Meanwhile, the privacy is incredible given the location. Do not read reviews of Cypress Park as they are probably inaccurate. Street savviness is probably not bad to carry but our walks up Mt. Washington were absolutely lovely and peaceful. We had access to everything from this location, including the Glendale YMCA which honored our Y membership from elsewhere. Most importantly, our son in Echo Park could stop by for a quick visit. As far as communication, both Penelope and Ors responded right away, key when I locked us out accidentally. Hopefully, you will choose this LA property in the future and enjoy it as much as we did.
We loved our stay - my husband and a friend came to LA to celebrate NYE. We looked for a Vrbo close to the venue, and we're so glad we did. This house was perfect - beautifully decorated, very comfy beds/pillows, a great living room dining room set up, and everything you could need in the kitchen. We also really appreciated the amenities - the full size toiletries, extra linens/towels, and stocked kitchen made our stay seamless. The neighborhood is great for a morning walk too; we went up to the look out point and then to the neighborhood above which was really pretty and had some great views. Owners were also very responsive and easy to communicate with. I hope to have a chance to get back to LA again so we can stay here!
