Our name SASIL means 'LIGHT/TRANSPARENCY' in the Mayan language. We honor the Mayan land and culture.

Combining modern minimalist design with spacious living areas and floor-to-ceiling windows, our villa seamlessly connects the outdoors with the comfort of indoor space. Terraces with outdoor seating provide the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your morning coffee.

Designed in authentic Tulum style, the villa features polished concrete chukum floors, built-in furniture, and shelves. All interior decor is locally made by Mayan artisans, lending Sasil its authentic Tulum vibe.

The property boasts a 9-meter swimming pool surrounded by a beautiful garden, creating a tranquil landscape for ultimate comfort.

Each Palapa Details:

The two Palapas each featuring double-height ceilings in the traditional Mayan palapa architecture with garden and pool views, and huge windows that offer the outdoor feeling we intended to create. The open floor plan includes a day lounge in the living area with an equipped kitchen downstairs, a queen sofa bed and a bathroom. loft upstairs has king bedroom and a private bathroom with a shower. sleeps 4.

Every private palapa features AC, high-quality cotton sheets, towels, and a closet.


Things to be aware of and consider before booking:

We are located in the center of La Veleta, the newest part of Tulum town. The newly opened beach road, Kukulcan, is right around the corner and will take you to the beach in 10 minutes by car or 25 by bike.

It's very easy to get to the villa by walking, biking, or car. There are no bumpy roads around the property.

We have air conditioners in each bedroom intended to cool our guests while they sleep, not to cool the entire apartment. We have designed the apartment to cool with fans and airflow, not by running the AC at full blast all day. This design minimizes our impact on the world and aligns with our sustainability values and goals.

We keep the property very clean and spray it for insects and cockroaches. However, please be aware that due to our location in the Mayan jungle and the Caribbean climate, insects may enter the property at times.

We have high-speed fiber optic wifi at 50 Mbps, but it can be spotty at times due to wind or technical issues with the main tower, which we cannot control. Most of the time, it works perfectly fine.

Normally, it's very quiet around the property, but neighbors may make some noise during maintenance work or other reasons.

Parties are not allowed in SASIL VILLA, and we ask guests to keep noise and music down after 12 PM.

A chef is not included in the Airbnb price. We do not offer refunds for any of the listed issues. Please consider before booking.

There is one designated private parking spot for the property as well as additional street parking. Cafes, restaurants, yoga studios, and grocery stores are within a 5-minute walk of the property.
