About this property

Fallview Cabin PA Grand Canyon - Wellsboro & Finger Lakes Wineries - Corning NY

Take a hike on 160 acres of woods and fields, or take an easy drive to local lakes, Grand Canyon, Corning Glass Museum, Watkins Glenn and Seneca Lake Wineries. Our full handhewn log home includes 3 levels. The lower level includes a Bedroom w/Full Bed, Full Bath, and den w/pool table. Mainfloor has: 2 Bedrooms - 1 Queen Bedroom & 1 Bedroom w/Queen, Single and Child's bed. Also1 Full Bath, Kitchen and Living Room. Spacious Loft Area includes 4 Single beds and Full Bath. Watch movies, shoot some pool, listen to music, read a book by the gas fire and enjoy the wildlife in the fields outside your window while sipping your coffee or tea. Deer, turkey and a rare bear may be seen. Go outside and enjoy games on the spacious lawn, walk the fields and woods, and finish the day with a campfire and smores under the brilliant stars.
This is a large home but we limit the number of guests to 8 unless other arrangements are made in advance.
Property is spring fed, large parties should be prepared to conserve water usage during summer drought. Please note there is no Cable/Dish — the tv is used for viewing DVD’s— we have an extensive library of films. A large screen SMART tv allows you to access your subscriptions to Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Disney, etc. Fiber Optics have arrived— and we have Internet service! We find we get decent but not great phone reception with Verizon and ATT. Enabling WIFI calling on your device allows seamless phone service.
We do not permit our guests to hunt on the property.
Dog 40 pounds or under allowed. Pet fee is $50. Please do not just show up with your pet.
We limit vacation stays to one week.
Sadly, I have to add— if you are looking for a place to ‘Party and drink’ please look elsewhere. We want to maintain the family atmosphere, and make our home and property available for the pleasure of those seeking a more quiet getaway.

Another Great Fourth of July in Tioga

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location

Property was all it advertised and more. Cabin was large, clean and well maintained. The property was remote but convenient to restaurants and local attractions.

Great cabin for a large family

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Cheryl’s cabin in Tioga. Everything was immaculate and she was very kind and helpful when booking. Will absolutely be back to enjoy the space again!

Lovely getaway

This is a beautiful log cabin in a private location. It was a great opportunity to relax and spend time together as a family. The kids loved the creek, and the fire ring was great with lots of wood available.

Perfect location

We were looking for a central location for a getaway with friends. Location was perfect secluded with lots of wildlife and a fire pit. We did enjoy 2 trips to Jones Kones though!

Perfect Log Cabin Getaway

We had a wonderful time at the cabin and enjoyed our Christmas vacation. My wife, me, our two college aged boys, and our puppy, Luna all had a great time on the property. We would highly recommend this for anyone looking to get away. Excellent hosts!!

Beautiful Cabin inside and out and easy to find. Would definitely recommend SUV and/or truck to assess cabin in bad weather as road is very bumpy going to cabin. Would love to spend more time there.

Finding Serenity

We were three couples (brothers) very much enjoyed the serenity and peaceful surrounding . The house was beautiful and enormous, overall a great rental for the price. We loved seeing the turkeys and deer every morning.

Nice relaxing getaway for us. Enjoyed the outdoor space very much and watching the wildlife on the property. The cabin was clean and well stocked with essentials. Also close to the activities we planned- hiking & biking. Found some very good restaurants within east driving distance.

Cabin in the woods

The perfect quiet cabin for visiting family. We were in love with the cabin as soon as we pulled in the drive. We grew up in the area and went back to visit family. The cabin was in the perfect location , easy to access and had everything we needed. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you for opening up your home to us.

Fabulous escape

If you are looking to escape and unwind somewhere remote, but still with home comforts then look no further. Beautifully designed and equipped log cabin ample size for a big family regardless of the weather. Outdoors true nature welcomes you with plenty of wildlife and peace and quiet.

Great Stay at Fallview Cabin

My girlfriends and I came to the area to run the Wineglass Half in Corning NY. This was the perfect place to relax pre and post race. Plenty of room for everyone and great kitchen/living room for hanging out. The porches and yard were so great. We loved watching the deer graze in the yard at all times of the day. Additionally we took advantage of the nice hike through the property. We all agree that when we come back to the area, we will stay here again.

just one word: awesome Property was just what we were looking for, clean, spacious, well maintained and lots of space for everyone in the family. Ringing in the New Year at Fallview Cabin

Met some old friends at Fallview Cabin for a New Year's getaway. The cabin was perfect -- beautiful, spacious, impeccably clean. We cooked, relaxed, hiked nearby Pine Creek Gorge, and enjoyed roaming the property. Cheryl and Carmen were super helpful, responsive and friendly. Thank you!

Peaceful, Beautiful Location with Easy Regional Access

Spacious, comfortable house for family group, including a multi-kid loft space that our grandchildren love! Peaceful, beautiful grounds surrounded by woods, great for walks and relaxing when viewed from either the side porch or the broad deck. Easy access to the region’s attractions. (Need I add that this grandfather and all of our grandchildren agree that the 2-mile proximity to Jones Kones made our daily ice cream break another highlight of our stay)

Beautiful cabin with lovely views!

Fallview Cabin was perfect for a girls' getaway weekend! We loved the instant-on gas fireplace, the cozy bedrooms, and even the quirky gas stove. The luxurious bathtub got heavy use, too! It was a very relaxing long weekend, not far from restaurants and museums in Corning. But we mostly stayed in - because the cabin had everything we needed for fun! Loved the pool table in particular. We hope to come back another year!

Quiet, secluded stay

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Great time of year to be here to see the fall foliage. We saw deer in the yard every day. We were about 30 minutes from town, so we just had to make sure we had whatever we needed before heading back for the cabin. Cabin is exactly as described. We got to meet and talk to the caretaker who lives just down the road, and that was nice. If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, this is the place.

My husband is an avid hunter and this property is perfect for him. I wanted our getaway place to be more than a 'hunting cabin'. Located within an easy drive of wineries, rail trails, lakes and parks, the historic towns of Wellsboro and Corning, not to mention the antiquing and restaurants...makes it a perfect place for me too!

What makes this property unique

Great place to stretch out with the family...large open spaces to be together. The getting away from it all and being together is by far the greatest benefit.
