An Extraordinary Wilderness Adventure!
Welcome to your lovely ten-acre vacation spot in the foothills of Yosemite at Donkey Lane. If you are looking for a Wilderness Experience, solitude, sunshiny days and starlit nights in the pine woods with nature’s elements and all kinds of critters about then Yosemite Vista @ Donkey Lane is the destination for you. At 3500 feet we’re just above the snow mark but below the blizzard line atop a mountain ridge where you can see the sunrise and set without leaving the property. We’re 15 minutes from the nearest grocery store or gas station and 45 minutes (30 miles) as the crow flies from the Highway 120 and the northern entrance into Yosemite National Park.
Our vacation property can accommodate up to 6+ adults, 1 youngster in the main house and 2+ adults in the adjacent guesthouse. The main house has three bedrooms; master bedroom has a private full-bath while the two smaller bedrooms share a full-bath in the hall. The couch in the living room is big enough to easily sleep one. Floor mats and sleeping bags area available for the adventurous outdoors deck sleepers under the stars. Security deposit of $200 will be refunded within 14 days after your departure date (baring no deductions).

Each additional guest $25 per day and up

Cleaning and garbage fee $200.00 and up
Pet (dog) fee $50.00 per pet
Guesthouse is only used for overflow to accommodate larger families, groups and their friends and will not be rented out separately.
Minimum price/stay is three nights at $510 adding $25 each additional guest per day up to maximum occupancy within the main house. Three plus nights start at $170 per night up to seven. Discount rate for weekly bookings start at $1,100 per week of 7 nights. Additional security, cleaning and garbage fees are negotiable but will apply.
Note: Fees change according to dates, party size and unique requests. Pricing will also vary depending on season and demand. I recommend we negotiate if there is flexibility to do so.
The easy access entrance to the main house has an accommodating front porch that extends onto the south facing walkway to the back deck, which extends throughout the entire length of the back of the house. The back of the house faces due east and captures sweeping views of conifers, oaks and manzanita and the often snow capped majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains and Cathedral Range.
ACCOMMODATIONS: This home is privately owned and reflects the owners' individual tastes and requirements. Please be respectful of personal property and do not remove furnishings, kitchen items or private property.

Our guesthouse is a completely furnished, separate living space with:

Note: Our water is “well water” pumped up from over 300 feet below the property. The water is safe for cleaning, bathing and drinking but has minerals in it like iron, giving the water a bitter taste. The water is safe to drink.
CHECK-IN /OUT: Plan to arrive after 2:00 p.m. Departure time is 12:00 PM, (Noon) sharp.
DAMAGES: I agree to properly use, operate and care for all furnishings, including electrical and gas appliances, plumbing fixtures, electronic home entertainment property, fireplaces, BBQs and all other items or whatsoever kind of nature provided to me during my stay for my convenience. I also agree to leave the home so that no extraordinary housekeeping will be required after my departure. I agree to both notify and reimburse the owners for all necessary and reasonable repairs, replacement for damage or destruction of property caused by my guests, and me or for extra cleaning required. We will notify you of the costs of damages or extra housekeeping within ten days after your departure.
QUIET TIME: 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please respect these hours as sound does carry off the mountain, especially during warm/hot weather nights when the windows are open.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: I agree to indemnify and save and hold harmless Donkey Lane Lodge near Yosemite and its' homeowners from any loss, liability, damage or cost I may incur due to my occupancy on your premises or from participation in any recreational activities during my stay.
