Located along the scenic famous South Walton County Hwy 30A on the beautiful Emerald Coast. This property is situated along the western end of 30A close to unique shopping, award winning restaurants and quaint art and dress shops.

Spacious 2100 square feet, four-bedroom, four and 1/2 bath, townhouse located in quiet Santa Rosa Beach accommodates up to 12-15 people and has beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy high speed internet wi-fi service while enjoying a cup of coffee or a cold drink of your choice from either of the three decks and watching a beautiful Emerald Coast sunrise or sunset. This large townhouse is an awesome property for a single or multiple families to spend a week or longer on a wonderful beach vacation.

Just a short 200-yard walk away, you can enjoy the white sand beaches of the Gulf. Watch the dolphins play in the gulf waters or if you are lucky you might happen to see a manatee on rare occasions. Fishermen can try your luck at catching redfish, pompano or bluefish which are caught regularly by those fishing from the surf. Or just bring some suntan lotion and work on your tan. Whatever beach activity you choose this is the place to make the most of your endeavors.

You will also have access to two swimming pools, two hot tubs, sand volleyball area, tennis courts, and propane gas grills for your use on the property. Covered parking is provided for two vehicles. Additional uncovered parking is available for extra vehicles.

This townhouse is situated on a quiet stretch of Walton County Scenic Hwy 30A. Just outside your door is a paved 18 mile bike path runs the entire stretch of Hwy 30A that goes through the beach communities of Blue Mountain, Grayton, Water Color, Seaside, Seagrove, Alys, Seacrest and Rosemary.

Charming restaurants and shopping at Gulf Place just a short five-minute walk. If you want to make a short drive for dinner or lunch then there are other fantastic dining options all along 30A in each and every community. Santa Rosa Golf Club is about a mile from the property. A Publix grocery store and a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market are also close by that can provide you all the necessities for your stay.

If you are looking for a quiet week at the beach then this is the place. No traffic jams, no high rise condos, no chain restaurants just sun, sand and surf. Unique locally owned shops and restaurants that provide a one of a kind experience that make this location different from the big beach towns and provide the special something that will make you want to come back again and again.

Clean, quiet, restful retreat at Dolphin Tales and Tall Cool One

We really enjoyed our vacation week at the Dolphin Tales and Tall Cool One. We had 13 family members staying between the two condos, side by side. We could easily slip between the units and share meals and entertainment. The kids loved going to the beach and the local Goat Feathers restaurant and the gym. We cooked many of the meals and had a lot of fun in the swimming pool right outside the door. Everything was convenient, and none of the traffic and noise we have had to endure in similar rentals in Destin. We have been getting together in various places in this area for 15 years, and the kids rated this one of the best. The property was well maintained and noise was minimal. When we thought there was a problem, it was easily resolved. Thanks for a great vacation.

Very nice property, conveniently located, and stocked with all of the essentials.

We had a great time and experience at Dolphin Tales. The beds were incredibly comfortable and all of the essentials were provided, especially in the kitchen. The location fit our needs perfectly with just a short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The games, books, DVD's, and puzzles were also much appreciated. One negative out of the control of the owner of Dolphin Tales was a large (21 people) group in the unit next door. They were a little much, to say the least. Our stay was truly an opportunity to relax and have fun in the sun. Thanks for providing a nice home away from home!

Amazing beach experience!

My family of 13 visited here for a week and had a wonderful experience. So much room it didn't feel like there was that many of us at all. All of the rooms were exceptional and comfortable. There is a short walk to the beach but it was not an issue. You were also right down the street from several restaurants and shops so you didn't ever have to drive unless you are wanting to venture to Panama or destiny. I would definitely rent here again

Exceptional Beach Experience

We received a week at Legends as a Christmas gift. When we arrived, we were met by a lovely condo with beautiful ocean views from the upper decks. The area was clean, a short walk to the beach and great pools for those times you didn't feel like getting all sandy.

A short distance away, there are shops and restaurants. We cooked out on the gas grills several times, went out for local seafood a couple of times, and all in all, had a beautiful time.

Be advised, the condo is 3 stories tall, and that is above the parking area, so to reach the very top floor, you will need to climb 4 flights of steps. Seems like a lot, but really was not a problem for us, but could be if elderly individuals are present.

I HEARTILY recommend this property to anyone looking for a restful, comfortable beach vacation on the gulf.

Nice proximity to quite, white-sand beaches, dining and shopping

Three families stayed here for a total of 6 adults and 2 toddlers for a week in mid-July. Overall the townhome was very accommodating for our needs with plenty of space. The rental company was easy to work with and prompt in responding to any questions or concerns we had, even when on site. The proximity to the beach was a very short walk although we do suggest a small beach cart or wagon for carrying things if you have a "group" as there is no public parking at the beach access point. The pools were nice and clean and the little ones enjoyed them.

Some things to prepare for on your visit: If you have toddlers or very small children, you may want to consider bringing some shild safety gates as there are lots of stairs between the 3 floors of the townhome, and the unit does not currently provide them at all. Also, bring extra beach towels and bath towels as the property barely had enough bath towels for the adults during our stay even after we asked for more. We had 3 bath towels per bathroom (total of 4 bathrooms) and with 6 adults and 2 kids; we had to wash towels daily. The unit accommodates 12-14 total, so if you have a larger group you will need more towels. (I would suggest the owners add more bath towels and a dish towel) An extra set would be helpful. We did take advantage of the nearby gas grills for dinner one night. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes, but some grill tools might be helpful. Be prepared to provide your own paper towels, trash bags and toilet tissue above and beyond the (1) trash bag and (1) roll of towels that will be there upon check-in.

Overall the property was nice, clean, near a good amount of shopping and dining, a reasonable and easy walk to the beach and a pleasure to visit. We would stay here again when visiting SRB.
