Clifftops cabin with access to lake, bluff views, Sewanee
Clifftops cabin close to the front gate. Nearby lake, bluff view, waterfalls, hiking. Sewanee University 3-4 miles away. Chattanooga-30-45 min, Nashville-90 min. 2 bedrooms, one of which is a loft.
Important: the stairs leading to the loft are very steep so it’s probably not the best option for young children or the elderly.
During the winter months from Christmas to March, the washer/dryer will be unavailable due to freezing weather.
Note: all of the work you see done to renovate the cabin I have done by hand over the past 5 years.

My family and I had an outstanding weekend getaway at this wonderful cabin! The amenities are first class all the way around and our stay was extremely enjoyable. This host is top notch and was extremely easy to communicate with about a very minor issue we had where I accidentaly broke a piece of the decor. I would not hesitate to stay at this cabin again if we ever have another opportunity to come back to this part of TN. Highly recommended property and host. Absolutely perfect stay! Thanks so much!

About the host

Hi, I'm Glen, originally from Mississippi, my wife Lindsey is from Louisiana, we live in the Nashville area. We enjoy coming to the cabin, hiking, and spending time at the lake/beach with our 18 month old daughter, Rowen. We enjoy meeting the many different people from all walks of life that enjoy the Sewanee area as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
Clifftops is a great neighborhood for the outdoors while also having all the amenities that you would need: swimming pool, bluff club/bluff views, tennis courts, basketball courts, swings, slides, lake, kayaks/canoes, and lots of hiking trails. Its located about 1/2 mile off the I-24 exit 134.
What makes this property unique
Our property is one of the first cabins upon entering Clifftops, so the location is a convenience. Also, our pasture is located conveniently by the community garden and mailboxes.
Important: the stairs leading to the loft are very steep so it’s probably not the best option for young children or the elderly.
