This cottage is adorable! Definitely rustic but exactly what you want a lake cottage to be. We loved having access to the kayaks and enjoyed the beauty of the lake. We brought our own bedding and the mattress was very cozy. We had wedding events for the majority of the time so we didn’t cook, but the kitchen seemed well supplied. We were able to check out some breweries in Keene and Henniker too. We had a perfect weekend away.
Sitting on a lake dock is always nice. Cabin is cozy and well-stocked. Communication with owner was simple and she was attentive reaching out.

Charming cabin on the lake
I loved staying here for a long weekend. The cabin is adorable and clean. The owner has it stocked with everything you need for cooking meals (minus the groceries of course) and overall being comfortable during your stay. The large living room is 3 walls of windows, allowing for views of the lake while relaxing. Sitting on the deck watching the lake was the best, listening to the loons and watching folks enjoy the lake. The cabin is in the woods and away from the hustle of the city which was most welcomed. But, close enough that you can get in and get groceries.

Amazing!!
The view was absolutely amazing!! The first thing we did was sit out on the dock! The house was so clean and had everything we needed! From cooking supply to extra toothpaste, they had it all! We will definitely be back next summer! We can't wait to use the kayaks they have!!

Perfect Getaway with beautiful views of the lake, very relaxing and quiet
Right on the lake with a picture perfect dock with two chairs and a side table. Loved the hammock, fire pit for roasting mashmellows and just hanging out by the fire. Used the outside grill all weekend. We caught small and large mouth bass. Would defiantly come back again :)

Peaceful Cabin
My friend andI stayed at the cabin for a long weekend. It was everything we had looked for- peaceful, quaint and cozy! The cabin was stocked with everything we needed to prepare simple meals. We loved being able to walk the dogs on the dirt road. It was a little to cool and rainy to swim or kayak, but it was wonderful having those options!

Quaint and charming cabin
Well maintained, cozy and comfortable! The dock was perfect for sunbathing, lounging and relaxing on a beautiful small lake. The kayaks were perfect for cruising and looking for the loon that serenaded us at night. Karen has a wonderful spot on the lake . We would definitely stay again! Thank you so much for a great weekend.

A lovely spot
This was a lovely spot - as it happened both of the next-door neighbors were away all week, so it was very private. The dock is spectacular. The house is small, but certainly adequate and the outside area is beautifully set up. I don't know if we were just lucky, but there were few insects. Close to conveniences in town.
A very relaxing and enjoyable week!

The old cabin by the lake
Perfect location on the lake and near services (real food markets by car).
Bedroom are small but it does the job. Large living room to relax on evenig. It's a old cabin, a litle dusty, but it's a nice and vintage one. I loved spending our evening around the fire pit or on the deck.
The lake is crystal clear and warm, nice for swiming and kayakin. Quiet neighborhood.
Smooth and aesy transaction, owner respond fast when we needed it. Nice person to deal with.

Amazing location!
The location of this house can't be beat! It is directly on the lake with a beautiful view from the house. The house is small but it is all you need, we were only ever inside to sleep anyway. It was great to have kayaks to use along with a grill and fire pit. I would definitely rent this place again. Karen was wonderful with quick responses and very accommodating!
