We had a wonderful stay here! The apartment was clean and comfortable, with lots of thoughtful touches. Elyssa was a wonderful hostess and easily reachable with any questions. The proximity to Seward and Kenai Fjords NP is perfect.

So glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you and safe travels!
Large and clean inside plenty of room for us all. Close to Seward and walking distance to the salmon wier which was well worth the walk. Received clear instructions on how to find and enter the property which had everything we needed.
The host was awesome and very helpful with everything. We enjoyed our stay here and look forward to returning here again one day! I totally recommend this place to everyone. Just a couple minutes out of Seward town but a nice drive. Mahalo
We truly enjoyed our stay here. The bed was very comfy and we both slept well. The water in the shower was perfect! And having a complete kitchen was great! We would stay here again if we make it back to Alaska!
What a great property for our state in Seward. You are close to town. Also, as an added bonus, there is a salmon weir very near the house and it was fun watching the salmon jump. Everything you need is provided at the property. Incredibly well stocked kitchen. Very comfortable living room room and eating area. Love having the washer and dryer as well. Highly recommend this place.
Thank you for welcoming us into your home. The owners were very welcoming and made sure we were okay. A great spot to everything: downtown Seward. We would definitely would recommend this place to our friends. Thanks again.
Nice spot. Plenty of room for the three of us to retreat after a busy day. Large kitchen! Host was quick to respond when I asked for a set of sheets for the third person and also fixed the bathroom door (it wouldn't close). You can hear the folks and TV from the apartment above.
The host was very responsive helpful with telling us about the area. Where to shop for food, what to do that interested us. They have a great spot to BBQ if you choose. We rented the lower apartment it had everything you would need to cook if you chose to. Clean friendly and fun. Walking distance to Bear Creek watched the salmon run the creek. Very quiet location.
Pleasant basement apartment with one bed and two futons. Kitchen looked well-appointed (we didn't use). Washer was broken but owner brought us a new one, which was appreciated! Owner offered hiking suggestions and bear spray. There was a smell of cats in the entry areas, but not in the unit itself.

Thank you for staying with us! I appreciate your review and while we have never had a cat I am wondering if my indoor greenhouse (Seward is not a good garden area so i grow veggies inside) gives off a smell that can be mistaken for cats. I will have to figure out a different place for my veggies! Thank you for your feedback!
4 adults, although 2 slept outside in their Sprinter van. Unsure whether the small sofa bed would be comfortable for adults, but should be fine for children. There was an extra mattress in the closet which may make it more comfortable. There were some large stains on the sofa. The main bedroom bed was very comfortable.Nice large, well equiped kitchen. The shower is small, but adequate. There were only 2 bath towels and washcloths in the bathroom. We did not request more as we had extra in our Sprinter van. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay and would stay here again. Elyssa was very responsive to any questions that we had.

Sorry about only being two towels. I usually leave for all guests but I guess I thought yours was a two person stay so I apologize for that. Stains on little sofa have been steam cleaned but seem to wanna just be there. And yes, the mattress in the closet is for the sofa bed because I know it’s not very comfortable so we leave the extra memory from down there to make it comfortable. Thank you for staying and I’m glad you enjoyed your stay
Our family of four stayed here for several nights in July. The location was great-quick easy access to everything (you do need a car). The hosts responded super-fast and accommodated any requests. The kitchen is very large and fully equipped. Having a washer and dryer was very nice. This is a ground-level apartment, and you can hear people above you. This mostly wasn’t an issue, but there was one morning when there was a lot of foot traffic at 5:30 am which woke us all up. I’m guessing this was unusual (?). Furnishings/decor were pretty basic, but this apartment did meet all our needs and is a good home base for adventures in the area.

Pros:
Elyssa, the owner, was extremely helpful and responsive throughout our stay.
The property is a good size and offered at a very reasonable price.
There is a massage chair in the entry room. Great treat after hours of kayaking!
It's located very close to Bear Creek Weir — we enjoyed watching salmon swim upstream and jump!
Having a washer and dryer on-site was a huge convenience.
The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to cook meals during our stay, which we really appreciated.
Minor cons:
There was no Wi-Fi connection during our stay, possibly because the unit is on the lower/basement level. We used our mobile data and personal hotspot instead.
You can hear movement from the unit above. Most of the time it wasn’t an issue, My husband spoke with the family upstairs when a little child was running in their room one evening. They were very understanding, and there were no issues after that.
