Welcome to The Highview at Stump Pass Place Resort on Manasota Key. Come as you are, kick off your shoes, and immerse yourself into this little tropical Paradise. Located on the southern tip of Manasota Key, we enjoy offering couples and family's a wonderful value added vacation and a great guest experience as well.

At our resort you will feel right at home the minute you arrive. From lush tropical landscaping to a spotless accommodation, we like to think we've thought of everything to make your stay both memorable and enjoyable.

NO ferries or water taxi needed. Just drive over the bridge to our island and enjoy your freedom and spontaneity.

Just a 30 second walk to our deeded beach path or a just 4 minute walk to Stump Pass State Park at the end of our street. Here you can go to the beach, launch the water toys, and make lifelong memories. Stump Pass State Park has one of the most beautiful pristine beaches in all of Florida!

Make sure to take full advantage of our FREE Beach cruiser bikes, Kayaks, Sups, beach wagons, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys, coolers and more!!

This rental stands high above the rest in every way. Kick back in the comfortable orange lifeguard chairs and take in the awesome views overlooking The Gulf and Lemon Bay. Nothing but blue sky's and blue water everywhere. The Highview gets two thumbs up from the locals and is a great spot for stargazing in the evening.

While inside, walk freely around the open floor plan. This top floor, two bedroom, one bath suite offers quality linens, and flat screen TVs. Enjoy cooking your favorite meal in the fully equipped kitchen. The comfortable open Living room has a large flat screen HDTV, and beautiful Gulf Views.

Love the outdoors?...then you'll feel right at home here. Cook out on one of our Weber grills. The picnic area and tables are nestled in sea shells. Found some great stuff at the beach???...Wash off your bounty in the custom built shell cleaning station.

Enjoy the enclosed open top outdoor shower with hot and cold running water and blue sky views. Walk around the property sipping a cool drink and be swept away by the lush tropical landscaping that surrounds the Highview.

The wildlife here is amazing. You will see pelicans diving for fish, Osprey in tree tops, dolphins and manatee swimming the shoreline. Sea turtles lay eggs here every year and don't forget to look for prehistoric sharks teeth (not hard to find) and go shelling at the point.

If you've been here before you know it's allure, if it's your first time, get ready for a soul refreshing journey!

Note* The Highview is a duplex that can sleep up to 12 guests in total. Each floor is a two bedroom one bath, sleeps six, and rents separately. Prices shown are for one floor only.

Our community pool is located just ten minutes from the house inside the Ann & Chuck Dever Regional park, 7001 San Casa Dr Englewood34223. Phone number 941-683-3743. The cost is $3 a day per person. For a pool on site see our VRBO listing numbers 2115647, 2117585 and 2116971.

Very clean, beautifully decorated, great view from the observation deck, lots of beach accessories to enjoy. We enjoyed all the local restaurants and shark tooth hunting. We would like to stay here again.

Great house with great views

The house was very clean and had all the beach stuff we needed. We used the beach chairs, umbrellas, pool noodles, beach wagon and the kayaks. We had a geat time and definitely enjoyed drinking our coffee each morning on the rooftop deck.

Nice location for a reasonable price.

It had a nice view of the Gulf and was close to several restaurants and grocery stores. The two bedroom one bath unit was very clean. The kitchen had everything I needed for cooking. It also had a nice deck. We also appreciated the kayaks and paddle boards.

Always a great stay with the host

This was our second year staying with this host. This year we brought along two other families and rented the entire house and it was perfect. The view was amazing, everything you need is already there such as beach chairs and beach toys. The location is perfect with a very short walk or bike ride(bikes provided by host) to the beach or to restaurants or beach shop and you just feel right at home at any of their locations. If you want a laid back beach vacation this is the place for you!

We stayed in the lower level while family stayed on top level. Fully equipped with everything you need for the beach - we overpacked our beach items given all that was there. Only need to bring your suitcases!!! Beach was an easy walk across a very small road - older kids were able to go back and forth alone! Neighbors were very friendly and owner was very helpful!

Wonderful location and accommodations for a short weekend getaway, but would also suit a full weeks stay. Super clean, a ton of beach chairs, toys, fliats, basically all your beach needs in one. Fabulous rooftop sunset views! The only downfall is the proximity to beach access could be closer and there are no minimal condiments, coffee, salt, pepper, etc. Board games would also be a plus for downtime!

Very clean property with attention to details. Beach and kayak equipment in great shape. Nicely decorated. Comfortable beds. A little closer to the beach may have been nice but the view from rooftop balcony makes up for the walk. We would recommend to small families or couples for a quiet getaway. Very quiet street even on the weekend and not overwhelmed with tourists.

After exploring Florida's Gulf coast for the perfect slice of paradise we kept coming back to the little unknown island called Manasota Key. The perfect mix of peace and quite, nature, and some fun Key West style restaurants just up the road. Anything else you need or want is just off island .

Our Resort sits on the southern most tip of the Island and is next to Stump Pass State Park. This home has awesome panoramic water views of both Lemon bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Come smell the fresh salt air!
