Relax in a family friendly, pretty townhome in Ft. Meyers, near golf & beaches.
This 3 bed 2.5 bath townhome with pool and fitness center, is in a friendly gated neighborhood. The incredible kitchen/dining open concept is great for families gatherings. The Master bedroom with 2 closets, dresser, desk, has blackout curtains that create the perfect nights sleep. The second bedroom has a queen bed and 3rd bedroom a twin bed trundle.
The property is perfect, and neighborhood is lovely. We enjoyed the neighbors…in fact one of them offered us their place to stay for another month! However, this listing requires a 30+ page lease agreement, a background investigation, a dog poop DNA test (yes you read that right), and multiple fees outside of VRBO. Because I raised heck about it, the owner paid those fees, but she initially expected me to pay. I have been renting VRBO and the other site for 15+ years and never had this kind of paperwork required. Very nice community however and the townhouse was lovely.

Great neighbours however - be warned
Average unit at best - basically located at the end of a residential area right next to industrial facilities. Quality was below average compared to other places we have stayed - very low end supplies (kitchen/towels/bedding). Took almost a week to get proper access to the complex - there was constant disagreement with security to access due to landlord not properly registering us as guests.Rear year was all weeds - took a week to be looked after. Came home to power being shut off one day due to landlord failure to pay utility bills. Shower leaked through the ceiling vent to the main floor once. 3 stair caps came off and landlord advised and suggested "they are just glued so I can send you some glue from Amazon and you can put them back on..." Needless to say, the answer was no.Nice neighbours however they dont like the idea of the unit being a short term rental...Pool area was great and water was always 88*
