4 dormitorios, 4 baños: esta excelente casa frente al mar está hermosamente amueblada y cuenta con todas las comodidades del hogar. El plano cuenta con una gran sala abierta y espaciosa, una gran cocina con encimeras de granito, electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, lavaplatos, microondas y baldosas de cerámica. Las dos master suites king se abren a la cubierta frente al golfo. Las dos habitaciones principales que dan al golfo tienen camas king. El dormitorio tres, en la calle, tiene un rey y el dormitorio 4 tiene una reina. ¡Hay televisores de pantalla plana y muebles de diseño en todas partes! Lavadora, secadora, televisión por cable, DVD, WiFi, grandes terrazas cubiertas y descubiertas, y vistas súper golfo. La superficie habitable es de aproximadamente 2,200 pies cuadrados. Cubiertas y porches 800+ pies cuadrados.

Birthday and anniversary trip

One of the best if not the best maintained and clean vacation rentals we have had. Kitchen impressively well stocked. Owners and managers thought of everything. Location is perfect. We had 6 adults and 3 kids and ample space and beds for everyone without feeling cramped. Quiet location with enough restaurants to accommodate us Very nice rental

Gorgeous sunsets

We had a party of 6 adults and we had more room than we needed. The oversized living room and well stocked kitchen was a highlight. We all enjoyed the pool everyday. We would higkly recommend stayed here.

Amazing stay

We had the best time. Right on the beach. Beautiful house. Only problem was the sand flies. They had teeth. Nothing work to get rid of them. But that is not the owners fault. Just something you have to live with. Over all we had the best time

Never stayed so close to the water!

I’ve been going to the beach my whole life but I have never enjoyed it anymore than I did staying on top of the ocean and watching the tides the sunrises and the wildlife. We had everything that we needed and the house was clean easy to find and Beautiful. We will definitely be back to the island and hopefully back to Beachaholic!

It's why you come to the beach.

The Beachaholic was about the best rental we have stayed in. We had a very relaxing week with plenty of beachy activities, walking, fishing and listening to the surf. The house was clean and spacious and about as close to the Gulf as you could get.

Beautiful home and incredible views!

The home is laid out perfectly and furnishings are beautiful. Not what you expect in beach rental! Bedrooms and baths were high end. The deck on the gulf side is partially covered and perfect for sunning or reading in shade. The only suggestion is to add chest of drawers to the 2 bedrooms on street side. Had to live out of our luggage for a week but given I came to enjoy beach, it was manageable.

Dauphin Island, a wonder of nature and full of history is a barrier island on the Gulf . The population is about 1,300. The town is included in the Mobile metropolitan statistical area. The island was named for Louis XIV's great-grandson and heir, the Dauphin. Our 'laid-back' atmosphere is prized by folks who enjoy serenity and natural beauty.

The eastern, wider portion of the island, is shaded by thick stands of maritime pine trees, but the narrow, western part of the island features scrub growth and few trees.

Dauphin Island is home to Fort Gaines, Dauphin Island Sea Lab, The Estuarium public aquarium, the Dauphin Island Airport, boat ramps, a fishing pier located on the Island's eastern end, historic sites, several restaurants. Beaches attract tourism, and fishing is a popular activity in the waters around the island. The island is connected to the mainland by a 3.5 mile long bridge.

Although the entire island is a bird sanctuary, the main one is the 164-acre Audubon Bird Sanctuary. Dauphin Island is the first landfall encountered by many birds as they migrate north from Central and South America, and as a consequence many species can be found resting there before continuing their journey.

In 1519, the Spanish explorer Alonso Álvarez de Pineda was the first documented European to visit, staying long enough to map the island with remarkable accuracy.

The island's French history began on January 31, 1699, when the explorer Pierre Le Moyne, sieur d'Iberville, D'Iberville later decided to locate a port for Fort Louis de La Louisiane (Mobile). Fort Gaines on the eastern tip of the island was built between 1821 and 1848. It was occupied by Confederate forces in 1861, and captured by Federal troops during the Battle of Mobile Bay. The phrase, 'Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead,' was spoken by U. S. Admiral David Farragut just a few hundred yards from Dauphin Island's shore.

The old walled Fort Gaines is on the east end of Dauphin Island. A ferry from nearby Fort Morgan in Gulf Shores brings both vehicles and pedestrians to the island. One of the closest attractions to the ferry dock is The Estuarium, located at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab...a fresh- and saltwater aquarium highlighting species native to coastal Alabama.
