Salmon Trail Cabin - a sunny log cabin in historic Hope, Alaska

The Salmon Trail Cabin is spacious one-room cabin, featuring a queen bed, a single bed, and a queen-size couch sleeper. This sunny little log cabin is located in the heart of the Bear Creek Lodge property, and is directly adjacent to the sauna. Also included is a small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and electric water kettle with tea and Starbucks coffee. The cabin has both electric heat and a wood-burning stove. This is a "dry" cabin with no water/plumbing of its own. The shared Wash Hut with indoor plumbing (showers, toilets, sinks) is some yards away.​ Sleeps five maximum.

Dirty Skillet is our on-site dinner restaurant and is typically open 6 nights a week. Our coffee shop is generally open 7 days a week, and it is where you will check in when you arrive. All cabin guests have access to our 24-hour sauna.

Our stay in Hope was truly one of the highlights of our entire Alaska trip. There is something incredibly special about this little town, and we absolutely fell in love with it.The peaceful surroundings, the mountains, the scenery and the quiet beauty were exactly what we hoped Alaska would feel like. We found ourselves wishing we had more time here because we simply weren’t ready to leave.Our stay was comfortable and gave us the perfect place to slow down, relax and really enjoy where we were. Hope is one of those places that stays with you long after you leave, and it definitely did that for us.We came to Alaska hoping to experience places we would never forget, and Hope became one of them. If we are fortunate enough to return to Alaska, we would absolutely come back.

Awesome Alaskan Weekend

We came down for the weekend for a rafting trip. We were not expecting this amazing little community with very friendly staff a cafe with delicious food and drinks. The cabin was clean and cozy and we got to fall asleep to the sound of a bubbling stream. Perfection!
