5 Acres on Lynx Creek!
This spacious, modern, recently built log cabin is nestled on 5 acres, with great views of the countryside, overlooking cottonwoods and Lynx Creek. Step out the back door to hiking. There is a large deck to relax, visit with others, have dinner, and is perfect for watching the sunsets and star gazing. There is another smaller deck off the living room. You can even pan for gold out front along Lynx Creek. This hidden spot has few structures on 46 acres, so feels like you are in the middle of the country, but is next door to a 5 star golf course - Stone Ridge, only 10 minutes from Prescott, with shopping, restaurants, etc. The cabin is also near to 3 lakes and Prescott National Forest. The best of both worlds!
The 1500 square feet log cabin has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed and its own large bathroom, with a walk in tiled shower and large jacuzzi style bathtub (no jets). The second bedroom has a queen bed. There is also a sleeper sofa, for additional sleepers. The cabin was built for the beautiful views. It has high vaulted ceilings throughout the cabin, multitude of windows, with 2 sets of French doors off the living room. The kitchen and living room are large and spacious.

Cute Cabin & Perfect Location
Two Sisters Cabin is a sweetly rustic cabin in a perfect location. Mary is a wonderful hostess - responsive and flexible. The cabin was clean and comfortable, kitchen had everything you need to cook. The beds aren't brand new but comfy enough. Note - no spices to speak of so plan ahead there but coffee was on hand. The unobstructed views and comfortable living areas are exactly what I was looking for. We spent every minute we could on the deck out back, soaking in sunrises and sunsets.
I couldn't seem to find the internet router but didn't contact Mary because my husband has a unit he travels with. The dish network was great for the one evening we watched a little of the Olympics.
We did struggle with the pocket door to the master bathroom but no big deal - my husband figured it out. The bathroom is lovely with a nice tub and generous shower area. The other full bath has a shower and room to walk around. Very nice.
When I opened the curtains at night to open the window in the second bedroom for my daughter, the Big Dipper was right there to greet me :)
Check out the hiking around the lakes in the Prescott area and of course the square. Don't miss breakfast at The Local. Lots of shopping and all easy to get to from the cabin. We visit the area quite a bit and the location of this cabin satisfies convenience as well as being a bit off the beaten path.
For a cute, rustic, quiet cabin experience in a convenient location, you can't beat Two Sisters Cabin.
Perfect for peace and quiet, especially traveling with a dog.
Lots of property for our dog to run around. She loved it. Privacy was perfect.
Peaceful, great location
First of all, Mary was wonderful. She started contacting me before we arrived, and was prompt to answer questions during our stay. The house location it's great. 5 minutes of bumpy dirt roads brings you out to the highway. Restaurants and grocery stores are very close, but you cannot see any of it from the house. Except for one neighbor, it feels like you are alone. We really enjoyed our stay. Some room for improvement would be the pull out couch, which Mary did mention before we even booked. Also we couldn't find any more garbage bags for the kitchen. Thanks to the 2 large garbage cans on the deck, it didn't cause a problem. All in all, a very nice stay. I can't wait to see what the house looks like when the basement is finished. My 6 year old son loved walking around and exploring with me. When he found out a real estate agent was showing the house to prospective buyers, he was in tears because we couldn't come back to Two Sisters Cabin any more.
Nice home tucked away from it all
My wife and I stayed in this cabin for two nights. It was nice and clean. Communication with the owner was seamless and they were quick to respond to any questions that we had. Directions were clear and had no problem finding it when it was pitch black outside, with only the stars lighting up the sky. There are no street lights so use caution when driving there at night.
The setting of the home makes you feel like you are away from the city, but local shopping was only a few miles away. The house is down a dirt road, anything but a lowered car shouldn't have a problem if you watch the path.
Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.
The great escape.
Spotless and spacious. The road in is fun. Our 2 wheel drive rental sedan handled it just fine. Sunset on the deck is perfect.
Thank you so much Dick, it was great getting to know you a bit and having you stay at the cabin! I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay!
Home away from Home!
Our Family had a great time staying in this cabin over the 2016 Christmas weekend. We had the pleasure of experiencing a white Christmas with lots of snow for the kids to play. The location is great for a quiet getaway from the city with only one house in sight. This cabin has all the essentials (some minor items that can be easily overlooked). The cabin was clean and has an open layout with separate Master and Guest bedroom (big master bath!). It is a dirt road and a steep hill getting there, would recommend AWD in rainy or snowy days. Overall a great travel experience from owner who responded quickly to all my questions.
