A small lake cottage with double-screened porches overlooking the lake. Pick your spot and start relaxing! The sprawling, lush green backyard has a walkway leading down to the dock. The covered boat dock features a double boat slip/lift and a generous space to sit and soak in the peace and quiet or cast a line. There is a small bait refrigerator and a fish cleaning station to fillet your catch.

Very well planned trip everything was perfect. From our host very commutative and nice was one of the best air babies I've ever stayed at would suggest this place for anyone who needs a getaway thanks again for allowing us to stay with a perfect weekend getaway that we needed would suggest this place to anyone 10 out of 10

The property is beautiful. June had everything you need at the lake house. It was super clean. In a wonderful location. Sitting on the dock watching the sun go down was beautiful!

Stayed for FSU parents weekend - great house, great views of the water, tons of games to play out in the huge backyard, on the screened in porch or at the bar downstairs. Great spot!

The kitchen was fully equipped. They offered gallons of water and ice for drinking. They had graduation mints, plates and napkins. (I was there to attend graduation) There were games available. My son had a blast fishing off the dock. Very clean. I will definitely book here again if we are in the area.

Awesome location

Cant say enough about how perfect this place was. It was exactly what we expected and more. From the minute we arrived we felt welcomed and at home. Bring your fishing poles and prepare to relax.

We had a great time staying for 26 nights. The view was as beautiful as it appears in the photos. We brought a boat and easily to put it in and took it out of the lake at the boat launch within walking distance. The area to keep the boat covered with a lift was great. We enjoyed cruising the lake and caught a few different varieties of fish. Plus we caught fish right off the dock. In the morning and evenings we especially enjoyed relaxing in the screened in areas overlooking the lake. The home was comfortable, has a well equipped kitchen. Check in was easy and the host responded quickly to all communication.

Perfect Talquin getaway

The house was perfect for us. It was very clean, even the outdoor spaces. Very well outfitted in the kitchen, and just a fun property overall. And several extra touches that helped make the stay even better. The dock was perfect to tie our pontoon to and get on the water. Great house!

There was bottle water in the bar. We really our stay. There are two items that could be improved. They are:- the lights out at the building where the picnic table and the grill are didn’t come on. We looked for a switch but didn’t find one.- the grill needs to be replaced.The things we liked include:- Plenty of parking space out front.- Inside of house is very nice with plenty of room.- The house was well stocked. Really enjoyed the fruit and eggs.- The dock was nice and the lift was good.- Nice neighbors. - mattresses were in good shape (comfortable)- Nice deck.- and moreTom D

Relaxing long weekend

This home was definitely the place to see a sunset! The host was wonderful and made sure we felt welcomed from beginning to end. It is near a public boat ramp/park/playground if you bring a boat.Everything you need can be found in the home. If you enjoy wildlife - we saw loads of turtles and birds some otters and what appears to be resident alligators making appearance morning and evening, sadly no fish to be caught from the dock.I will caution anyone with pet allergies this home had my allergies acting up, the cabinets and refrigerator had some used and expired stuff kind of giving the ick factor that it may not be cleaned after guests and also if you have a lower car you have to drive over a curb for parking.That being said- we would stay here again!

Fantastic Lakefront Stay

We had a fantastic time during our stay on this property. I was impressed with how clean it was. It was so very nice to arrive after traveling and just relax. The views are spectacular, we enjoyed the lake so very much. We spent a great deal of time fishing, the dock was very convenient, so nice to be able to leave our boat right outside the back door. The boat ramp was just a block away which was super easy to do as well. There was a small park at the boat ramp a block away and our younger children enjoyed playing and exploring as well. We particularly loved the outdoor/porch areas. They were spacious and cozy, offering plenty of room to relax and enjoy the views. In the kitchen, anything you would need to cook with was there. It was truly fully stocked, this was much appreciated for a family who likes to cook. The owners were quick to communicate and made us feel super welcome. We would definitely stay again, it was a wonderful vacation and stay.

One of the most beautiful places I've been and I'm from Tallahassee. Simply put "take off your shoes and relax your feet" the patio veiws will put you sleep,literally. Our host June was the best and open. Love that about a host. 10 stars 10 stars 10 stars. I know im a little carried away, I apologize, but that is exactly what this place did... Carried my family and I away.Oh I forgot the rooms are very clean too, just all around magnificent. 100 or 10 stars.

This home is situated on beautiful Lake Talquin, near the end of a cul-de-sac and only steps from Ben Stoutamire Landing. It is a very quiet neighborhood so if peace and quiet are what you are looking for, you have found it! We are just thirty minutes from FSU, Tallahassee and Wakulla Springs.
