Great location for Savannah, a few minute walk to Forsyth Park.We walked everywhere with our dog, so great to have dog friendly home to rent.Small pool on property was a big hit with our son
Revisiting Savannah for another great time. Loved the house and it's location. The pool is shared with 5 properties and it is small. We had a great time in Savannah and the beds were comfortable.
The city was beautiful and the house really added to the joy of our vacation. The house had an older feel which is exactly what we wanted to compliment the historic city.

Thanks so much for you review and for staying with us!
We enjoyed our time in Savannah. The location was perfect spot in the city to get to everything we wanted to. Kroger a block away made for easy trips to get snacks, water and such. Information and communication during stay was thorough. Loved having the pool for the kids to burn off energy even after walking around the city all day. Would recommend to others.
Great place! Noisy in front bedroom with the king size bed. A cord was missing from the sunroom but host offered to ship one; rather than wait we just got an extra one. Washer does not work; so that should be added to the listing. The area is perfect. Close to downtown and the river.
Review: Great Location, but Property and "Host" Lack Any Real CareOverall Rating: I am giving this property two stars primarily for its location, as the home itself and the management experience were significant disappointments. I believe it is important to provide an honest account for future travelers, as the current listing does not reflect the reality of the space. The LocationThe location is the one true highlight. While the neighborhood is "on the fringe," it is quite perfect for walking into the historic district and the park. Having a Kroger just two blocks away was incredibly convenient for picking up essentials.Lack of Personal TouchProspective guests should know that "communication" here is entirely automated. You receive standard, pre-programmed texts within the VRBO app upon arrival and departure, but there is no actual human interaction or oversight. This is certainly not the "Vacation Rental By Owner" experience one expects; it feels like a neglected corporate unit where no one is actually checking on the property between guests.Condition & CleanlinessThe apartment is "tired" and lacks the basic care expected of a professional rental. The entry hall set a poor tone—reminiscent of a dirty, smelly college dormitory. Inside, the lack of hygiene was distressing. We found long hairs in the bathroom, on the living room floor, and even on the ice cube tray in the freezer. The entire unit felt coated in a layer of fine dust, and I had to spend my arrival ev

I never leave reviews but thought I would provide some clarification for other families looking to book in Savanna. The house was old yes… we knew that but it was quite run down. Smelled musty, mold on ceiling in bathroom, dirty under all furniture. When you run the dishwasher it bubbles up the sink. Pool is shared with 6 or 7 other units which is fine but it’s not private. Very limited supplies and very disorganized, you have to walk through a bedroom to get to the main bathroom with the only shower. Does not sleep 8 comfortably. AC is freezing in the primary bedroom and still hot in sunroom. The neighbourhood is not the best. Somewhat close to the downtown but I would not feel comfortable walking this neighbourhood at night. I would not book again. We stayed with our family if 7. All children under 15.

We regret you feel you did not have a perfect stay with us. Regretfully, you did not make us aware of any issues during your stay otherwise we would have addressed them right away.
This property is in what I would describe as an “Up and coming neighborhood”. I felt safe at all times, but it is only a stoplight away from what looks like blighted buildings boarded up and undesirable. That said it is also a stoplight away in the opposite direction to a super nice neighborhood Kroger store. The apartment is all on one floor. There appears to be a permanent tenant upstairs. So, this building houses four apartments. The pool is small, but there were never more than 3 people in the pool area at a time. It looks like a historic compound of the four apartments, and once out the back door an additional three homes. I have no complaints. The property was consistently more than 1/2 mile from everywhere we wanted to go (aka popular historic areas) so we drive everywhere. Street parking was easy and free in front of the building; however, pay attention to the restricted hours early Thursday morning. The photos look very modern and updated. The reality is that it is an historical property that has been updated. I found everything to be in good condition. I thought the primary bedroom was beautifully decorated in art deco style. The property owner/manager was always available via email and answered questions quickly. This is a rental property, so naturally it shows wear and tear. I can recommend this property for groups of 2-3 people.
