We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the house is located ideally. Beautiful location on the shores of the Madison and 3 blocks from Main Street Ennis

My wife and I stayed at this property while in Enjis to fish the Madison a few years ago and returned last week. It's very comfortable, well appointed and well maintained. We'll look forward to our next opportunity to rent this property.

Fantastic Stay on the River

Linda and Guy's home is perfect for a relaxing stay on the river. My father and I stayed here for a fishing / hiking long weekend and it was absolutely perfect! Views off the porch of the river flowing by, deer wandering in every evening, and close proximity to town so you can walk to get something to eat or meet your fishing guide. Top notch all around!

Anniversary Stay

We were welcomed with a bottle of champagne and gift basket for our 40th anniversary stay for four nights. The house is cozy and comfortable and well appointed. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking. And right on the River, and convenient to town (walkable). A beautiful place.

Beautiful, relaxing, and convenient

This property is even better than the pics and the description. I really enjoyed sitting by the fire pit on a cool evening, looking at the Milky Way, and listening to the river in the background. It’s very short walk to restaurants and bars in Ennis.

Great stay on the Madison!

Great 2 bedroom house on the Madison River, in the town of Ennis. Wonderful views of the river and the Madison Range. Very comfortable home with nice furnishings, a great kitchen, and very quiet. Highly recommend. I plan to return. Linda is a great host.

Wonderful Fishing house!

We had a fabulous time at Stay on the Madison River! The view from the front windows is amazing. The house is clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. Guy and Linda were great hosts. The river is right there. Deer walk through daily. There are plenty of birds to watch. Overall, this is an amazing place to stay!

Ennis 4th of July

We stayed for 4 nights and the house and location were perfect. Linda and Guy, the owners of the home live right next door and were helpful and we enjoyed visiting with them. Our daughter got married in Big Sky on July 1st and many of the wedding guests and family gathered in Ennis for 3-4 days after the wedding. We fished and floated on the Madison River, went to the rodeo and 4th of July parade. The house is just a short walk from downtown. We also drove over to Virginia City for the fireworks. Would definitely recommend.

Great stay on the Madison

Thank you Linda and Guy for maintaining and sharing such a great property. If there were 10 stars available for cleanliness, we would give it. The view out of the picture windows doesn't get any better. The weather turned cold during our stay but the house is very warm and we were plenty comfortable . It's stocked with everything we needed. WIFI and TV systems worked great. Our compliments to your cleaning staff. They are the best. We highly recommend this property and would love to come back. Thank you.

Love the fact that this property is right on the river directly across from the Ennis take out on the river. The house is cute and cozy. Comfortable beds. Very clean! All bedding and towels etc...washed and sanitized even if they look clean after each customer!!!! Nice big windows overlooking the river. Lots of windows that open for cross breezes and cooling the house. Washer and dryer on premises. Full size kitchen appliances and dishwasher! Beautiful hardwood floors. Deck overlooking the river and a fire pit that you can use. Owner allows you to use their yard also, clear down to the river. Owners are very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again! Our main focus was the river as we like fishing, but the town has lots of fun shops and restaurants for those who like shopping!

Perfection!

The place is just as described and perfect! We loved the location, quiet and peaceful. The unobstructed views, the ability to fish right in the front yard if you choose to and of course the quaint little town of Ennis. This place and location is definitely a "little slice of heaven". Peace like a river on the river. The home offers everything needed. The hosts are amazing.

My son and I had the most relaxing vacation on the Madison River in this beautiful home. Float, fish, walk 3 min. Into middle of downtown Ennis, or sit by the fire and take in the awesome scenery and sounds.

We are a married couple with three grown children, currently spliting our time between California and Montana.

Why they chose this property

We spent our first few years as a married couple in Montana and we couldn't wait to return to this beautiful area for our retirement. We enjoy fishing and the outdoors but we also wanted to be walking distance to other activities that the town of Ennis has to offer. We rent out this property when our extended family is not visiting.

What makes this property unique

We hope that you enjoy the quiet tranquility of life on the river. While also taking advantage of the many wonderful treats that Ennis has to offer, everything from community events like the annual rodeo and fly fishing festivals, to the shopping, entertainment and yummy local eats.
