Gorgeous and plentiful

Playa Flamingo is largely an ex-pat community. Nonetheless, our accommodations were lovely. An older building, its charm lay in its views and proximity to all kinds of activity.Our communications with management sometimes took a while, but they were always responsive, helpful, kind, and gracious.

A Great Holiday Spot

Very safe condo with a great location to restaurants, Playa Flamingo Beach, and shops. Every morning we walked down to the Mariner (5 minutes) for coffee, breakfast and conversation with other travellers. We had plans of touring the whole country during our visit, but their were so many beaches on and off the beaten track to explore so we stayed within 35 Km of the condo. Condo is clean and supplied with all amenities. The view to Playa Flamingo Beach is breath taking. The pool is huge and the picture doesn't do it justice. It is a great refresher after walking up the hill to the condo. All staff associated with this building and the condo itself are extremely friendly and helpful. Although we rented a car, it was easy to walk all around Playa Flamingo.

Gorgeous Week In Playa Flamingo

This is a very beautiful property. The views are breathtaking, the balcony is lovely, with beautiful cross breezes from the ocean. The apartment is extremely large and well appointed. The bedrooms are spacious, and the two baths make it ideal for parties of more than two. For us the location was perfect. Playa Flamingo is just down the hill; Playa Potrero, too, though it's a little farther. People tend not to speak about this beach, but it's actually quite nice. Hemmingway's on the beach for breakfast is a must. But you're also just short hop to Playa Conchal, which is stunning and easily accessible. Some of the best shore snorkelling I've done. We loved being able to be in the scrum and to go to all of the beaches and restaurants, and then to retire to Jim's beautiful condo in the evenings. It really is an oasis. Several nights we ate in, using the bbq. Great tuna steaks and salmon at the local super. We highly recommend this property. We'd go back in a heart beat.

Fantastic view, location and walk to beach, what more do you need!!

My family (5 of us) spent 11 days in this fantastic condo. The condo had everything that you need and is very spacious. The view overlooking Flamingo Beach is fantastic and we would get up early and walk the beach (10 minute walk) every morning. Be warned the unit is up the hill so there is a 5 minute walk up a fairly step hill. There are many restaurants in the area, that you can walk to, but I suggest getting a car as there are other areas (within 30 minutes) to explore and eat. The owner is great and had many good suggestions for beaches and dinning that we took full advantage of and thoroughly enjoyed. This was our first time down to CR but it will not be our last. Pura Vida!

Great condo

My family and I spent Christmas at this condo. The view from the condo was fantastic, the beds very comfortable and everything was very clean. The management was extremely helpful and there is a security guard at the entrance of the condo complex. The pool is lovely with a lovely view. You can walk to the beach in 10 minutes and just down the hill is a great little restaurant for breakfast and lunch. There is also a small supermarket 5 minutes down the hill.

wonderful condo with beautiful views!!!!!!! couldn't have found a more lovely place. great location. Jim (the owner) was extremely helpful and did all he could to make our stay the best it could be. He succeeded! highly recommend this place. It meets the needs for up to 6 guests. We also recommend Native Way tour company specifically the full day tour to Nicrauga. It is the same tour viator offers but about $30.00 cheaper and they pick you up at the condo.all in all our vacation couldn"t have been any better. Thank you Jim - all your recommendations were great. hope to visit your place again one of these days.

Presidential Suites 8!! Maravillosas vacaciones cortas en Flamingo!!!

Excelente, decidimos realizar un paseo familiar en temporada baja para evitar las grandes conglomeraciones, el Condominio tiene buen mantenimiento y limpieza, y la Suite 8 en excelentes condiciones, menaje en muy buen estado y la empresa de administración muy atenta. La ubicación del Condominio y apartamento 8 es privilegiada, una vista absolutamente hermosa!! Super recomendado.

Fantastic Flamingo Beach

We decided to treat ourselves for our last 3 nights in Costa Rica and rented this condo via VRBO (my first experience using VRBO) and was really pleased. From the warm greeting from the rental managers to the location and quality of the condo, we were very, very happy! The views of the Pacific were spectacular and the beach was only a 5 minute walk down the hill. The condo was great too! Very well appointed, clean, huge kitchen, and a wall of glass. Would recommend this for anyone.

Great location, lots to do

The condo is very well kept up and in a great location. There were only 4 of us so we had lots of room. The condo is walking distance from several good restaurants and Flamingo beach which is beautiful. We went scuba diving (the sea life was amazing), and sport fishing (caught 4 big fish). Catching the sunset from Playa Conchal (a short drive) is a must.

We've been enjoying vacationing in Costa Rica for few years and found Playa Flamingo to be our favorite spot for its central location, pristine beach and breathtaking scenery.

Flamingo reminds us of Monte Carlo, with its hilly topography, winding roads and unforgettable vistas that surround the ocean. You can enjoy the beautiful white beach without getting hassled or hustled by anyone. We feel very safe and peaceful here, and you will too. We have furnished our place 'Costa-Rican' style with real handmade wood and local artisan decor to give you an authentic pura vida experience during your stay. As a extra bonus,we also provide you with free maid service and free unlimited local phone calls from the condo.

Unlike the potholed roads and remote locations of many properties, this condo is situated in the center of Flamingo downtown with nice paved roads directly from the airport. Once you get here,you probably won't need a car as everything is walking distance from the property. The central location of this condo makes it very appealing to visitors who want to take a taxi to Tamarindo for nightlife or Playa Grande for surfing. You have an abundant choice of gorgeous beaches just minutes away such as Sugar Beach, Playa Penca and Playa Conchal . For those wanting adventure, try out the day trips to Arenal Volcano. Fishing Trips, Monteverde and many others from a tour operator just down the street.
