Especially when we get unfair comments, the landlord's comfort and encouragement makes us more convinced that our work must be worthy of this beautiful house. First of all, thank you for your reservation! When your wife came in, wipe the door knobs repeatedly with disinfectant tissue, I knew you pay much attention to personal hygiene! In the 7 days of your rental, I only received messages from you about Wi-Fi, borrowing ropes and the door code, we didn't ask you to compensate for your damaged, and we returned your security deposit on the day you checked out! no complaints of any kind and you left behind such a bad comment which is unbelievable to me! About the potato chips on the sofa, I contacted our contracted cleaners and they told me they cleaned all the floors, including the bottom of the beds and corners of each room, with both vacuum cleaners and dust papers. Three professional cleaners worked tirelessly for four hours, and they cleaned entire house ,especially the shower room and ceramic tiles, which were disinfected with vinegar and alcohol. They also wiped the sofa, but they didn't remove the cushion and clean the gap between the cushion and the base. They are very sorry for this! In fact, after the cleaner left at three o'clock, due to your traffic jam, I double checked all the rooms, including the sofa and living room twice, which is also negligence in my work, I'm sorry! As you know, it rained continuously for a week. The temperature in the morning and evening is low at the cottage. it is difficult for the swimming pool to reach the ideal temperature even if it is heated all the time. If you can tell me earlier that you can't use the swimming pool with low temperature , we can ask the service guy to turn off the heating system and refund you the heating fee, The cost of electricity and propane is quite expensive! I would like to thank you very much for your reminding about the brick movement around the swimming pool. We have asked the maintenance people to come over. They found that three places were slightly loose and they have finished repairing them. As for children's water toys, we have a large plastic container beside the swimming pool, in which there is a box of children's water toys. We didn't recommend it to the tenants. We were worried that the pandemic and wanted to avoid potential health hazards. We have also listed in VRBO that we only provide limited children's toys. Regarding the layout of the master bedroom, it is also a feature of this property. Everyone has his own preferences and it's hard to accommodate everyone’s taste, however, on the VRBO website, we have honestly told the tenants how many rooms, how many beds for each room we have etc. We hope that tenants would check carefully before booking. As for the maximum capacity of 16, it is the combined standard capacity of all beds, we have no control over how you allocate or would like to allocate.I believe you know that during the pandemic, the rent of cottage increased a lot compared with that of last year. Our price is a fair market price. As you booked by VRBO, you and I need to pay a certain proportion of service fee to VRBO, the landlords also have to pay a lot of service fees because cost of labor and materials has risen sharply this year! I want to tell you the real situation and hope to get your understanding! we are working for the landlord, and your comment makes people feel that this water front house worth more than 5 million is a dirty place, it is truly unfair! It's impossible to say nothing about the four hour professional cleaning of three people just because of the potato chips under the sofa cushion! It's impossible to describe a 2000 square feet master bedroom area as a group house because of the master bedroom layout you don't like. You can't deny all the labor of the five of us just because you think you've paid a higher rent fee . We are very willing to improve our work and do better for our future guests instead of losing our job! Thanks

Hi Sandra, on June 25, when you checked in, everything was normal and in good condition. On June 27, you sent me a message that there was problem in the septic tank and the toilet blocked .We immediately contacted the service company to solve the septic tank problem on July 27 of the same day. I didn’t complained if you threw sanitary napkins or something into the toilets , which we prepared for you in the bathroom .We've also sent someone from Toronto to help with your request. This is what we can do! In rural areas, except for electricity, all facilities are not urbanized. It's normal to encounter something. The house is composed of various systems. It is impossible for us to replace all systems before each tenant moves in. We can only check whether all equipment works normally before the tenant moves in, we always do our best for the tenants to solve the problem if something happened during their staying.In addition, you complained about the rental fee before your check in. If your husband booked the cottage, you should ask him the reason for the reservation. You can not complain with me. I believe this is a fair deal between your husband and the landlord. I know all the tenants want the best house with a lower rent. This is a house worth more than 5 millions . Our rent fee is fair., and both your husband and the landlord are fair. Our cleaning company is a professional service. If it does not meet your requirements, we would like to improve our service , however, we sincerely hope you should leave a little bit cleaner house when renting in the future! thanks again for your reservation .
