Beautiful home and location!

We really enjoyed our time at this property. The house is beautiful, spacious, and clean. The house was exactly as described in the listing. We enjoyed going to the beach, playing in the pool, and eating dinner on the back patio. The property is very secluded and peaceful. On calm days, we were able to get on the beach via the beach access. On windy days, we drove to the public beach, which is only 0.5 miles away. This property made for another memorable family vacation! We would definitely go back!

Secluded modern home with beautiful views and close to the beach.

This home is beautiful the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s very secluded and has magnificent views. The dock is shared however we saw only one person using it our entire stay and it was perfect for fishing and watching the sunrise. It also has its own private access to the beach right across the street. It’s not a spot you can do anything more then watch the sunset because it’s rocky and has very little sand that isn’t covered by water. It’s a very short walk on the road or in the water to get to the public beach so it was not an issue for us, but we don’t have small children. We had some minor issues but the management team was very responsive and took care of everything quickly. My only complaint was it wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been when we arrived. A bit disappointing but wouldn’t stop me from vacationing there again.

Absolutely beautiful setting

Manasota Key (FL) is a special place. This property is surrounded on three sides by Lemon Bay. Sunrises are magnificent. Eclectic furnishings are fun. Kitchen is very well equipped. High ceilings give a feeling of spaciousness. Great separation of master suite from guest suite. Refreshing salt water pool. Beach access is apparently seasonal. But Blind Pass Beach is a mile away. We had a great vacation.

Beautiful Home right across the street from the beach!

Amazing customer service by Justin as the property manager, brought us a bicycle pump quickly so we could ride the bikes. Home is BEAUTIFUL, although it needs some repairs (bed in master bedroom mattress needs replaced, door handsets not working great, paint needs touched up, a couple lamps are held together with tape, hodgepodge of chipped dinnerware, wore out pans, one of the shelves in the living room needs fixed, and the condensation has warped some of the flooring). The beach across the street is private and minutes from the house. It may not look like much when you first get to the steps, but keep going cuz it's really really pretty and quiet. And the pool at the house is perfect for relaxing at the house and cooling off.

What a great place!!!!!!

We spent two weeks at this home with the intention of truly getting away from it all. This home offered what we were looking for. While a short distance to everything you need on the key , this place offered us the peace and relaxation we were needing. The house and amenities were awesome and provided us everything we needed for our stay. There are only a couple of items we would call out. There were quite a few bulbs out including the foyer, front entry way, etc. There was a faint hint of urine in the master bedroom. We know it is pet-friendly and know accidents happen but wanted you to be aware of it. The last thing was regarding two pans we tried cooking in that took our entire stay to clean after using them the first day. I believe they just need to be replaced as the non-stick isn’t protecting them any longer. Besides these little nuances, our trip was fantastic and the area provided us what we were looking for. Also, had no clue about the shark teeth on the island so that was a great treat for our children and the adults!

incredible house & views

this was, by far, the most beautiful house we’ve ever stayed in. everything was 100% perfect and we had the best time. the dock, the pool, all of the beautiful terrain - well thought out, immaculate additions to the house we rented. we will definitely be back. seriously, just book this house. it’s that good.

A great house and even better location

This contemporary house with its eclectic furnishings is a unique experience. New management is trying very hard to rectify the lack tender loving care provided by preceding management. But even with any remaining shortcomings this house is something you have to live in to really appreciate. We had a very memorable stay!

Perfect vacations

What a perfect place to relax and unwind. The two of us spent a week here with our son, his girlfriend and our dog in this gorgeous and very private place. Initially I did not feel the need to leave this place but the first short trip to the private beach convinced me that a morning at the pool and afternoon at the beach makes for a great routine. The house itself is beautiful and well equipped in everything you may need, including three different espresso machines, Nespresso was our favorite. The area is quiet and not touristy, perfect for those who want to escape the crowds. We had a wonderful time here!

The house is beautiful and the location is one of the prettiest places we've vacationed in Florida. The house has everything you could possibly need. The location with beach access, dock on the bay, and pool with Cabana - you couldn't ask for more.

Great location and property, minor details need to be addressed

This was our second year at this property. The house itself is amazing - it is secluded and private, has grand rooms with floor to ceiling windows, and feels like your own resort. The backyard area is great for lounging and spending time relaxing. The property itself is fantastic. Since our stay last year, the more minor details of the house have been forgotten. These could normally be overlooked, but there were so many it is hard to not have them add up. New patio furniture was delivered while we were there which was a nice change, however some still is old and worn. The kitchen has every appliance you could imagine but lacks basics such as cutlery for a small group. Bedding on the guest beds is very thin and worn. There are many, many lights burned out outside the property - which made arrivals to the house in the evening very dark. We had to call for a special garbage pickup as it was overflowing when we arrived. There was no skimmer for the pool which caused many leaves in debris in the pool – to the point we were unable to use it until the pool company came. Bathrooms lacked of washcloths. We would happily stay at this property again, but hope the managers give it the time and attention it needs and deserves first.

Hi Jeff, I am really sorry you had these minor issues at the house, I have ordered all new bed linen, pool skimmers cutlery etc and arranged an electrician to fix the lights outside, the house has been full most of the year so the basic maintenance hasn’t been able to be done I am in the Uk and due to covid not been able to go to the house this year to check on this. The management has been notified of the problems and are dealing with them.

All that glitters is not gold

This architectural delight has soaring ceilings, floor-to ceiling window walls, eclectic eastern and ethnic interior furnishings. Creature comforts of A/C, heating (we had some unusually chilly days and nights) and hot water were all great. The privacy is superb as there are truly no neighbors. The mangrove and the dock (no bird droppings at all due to protective fishing line preventing birds from landing on railings!) were wonderful. Abundant bird activity on Lemon Bay was a treat. Management staff was quick to address most concerns which arose and were especially helpful for my child with pet allergies by graciously and quickly purchasing/laundering new sheets and comforters quickly to replace for us. We were and are very grateful. My mistake to fail to notice when booking that this property is pet friendly. Problems/issues: Many lightbulbs out (over 12) throughout the house. Handyman fixed most 2 days after our request. Countless landscape lights not working. 3 or more pet urine carpet stains in master bedroom. Countless dog hairs in comforters. 2 pet or water stains on fabric chair in Red bedroom Couch: stylish white microfiber, but dirty with black marks from hands/spills. Beds were all far too soft (VERY)for our liking. WiFi download 30 Mbps, upload 3mpbs—no lagging. Strong odor in refrigerator (fish?). Security cams in rooms felt creepy to us, but manager assured they are not connected during our stay. 2 of 3 kitchen stools won’t raise, so are useless for sitting at the island. Empty NG tanks for barbecue, replaced within a day. Multiple loose doorknobs. Kitchen drawers stick/squeak a lot. Fisher + Paykel (= Frequent + Problems) dishwasher--unable to use bottom drawer due to red caution light and poor fit in island--drawer scrapes floor when opening, so rendered unusable. Outdoor garbage cans are NOT animal proof, need much better latch. Animal got into garbage 3 of 7 nights--mess. On the asthetic side: grass in backyard needs water and a bit of fertilizer, nearly dead in dry season. In sum, we loved the ambience, the serenity, the light and the privacy. The soaring glass windows, the tasteful and unonstentatious decor and art, the minimalist design and the property's integration with nature are unparalleled. This was not enough for us to overcome the sense that 'the castle was in disrepair.' Maintenance is necessary. Clean upholstery would be great (felt dirty). Uncomfortable.

We have addressed your concerns, the couch and chairs have been professionally cleaned along with all the carpeting in the master bedroom and an Electrician has been there to address the outside lights. We appreciate you making us aware of the dishwasher and doorknobs, we had no previous knowledge of these items needing attention.

Very beautiful property. Everything in nice condition. Very quiet and relaxing. I don't think they were part of the beach reclamation project as the beach access sport was mostly gone or under water when we tried to utilize it. The Manasota Beach park, just down the road was a nice alternative.

A slice of heaven!

We visited with two children ages 8 and 10 and our nanny. The home was amazing. We were 1,000% comfortable and felt like we were in our own private high end resort. The pool was fabulous, private beach across the street we couldn’t access due to the tide being too high at all times. We ended up driving to Siesta Key which was a beautiful beach! It was one of the most relaxing spots I’ve been to, can’t wait to return next year!!

Englewood home rental

We had a wonderful time enjoying this beautiful home on Manasota Key. Accommodations were perfect for a large mostly adult family. We appreciated all the kitchen and dining since we were homebound due to the Covid 19 Virus. We enjoyed the sunrises on the dock, dolphins a few times. And sunsets across the street on gulf side.. Only issue was neighbor across the street was not friendly and told us it was private property when we pursued the beach. Other than that it was magnificient! Thank you!

Amazing retreat...

This is an amazing property. We felt as though we were at our own private resort during our ten days spent here. The outdoor area is where we spent most of our time sunning in the loungers and relaxing in the cabana. The kitchen was furnished with everything we could imagine, and the master bedroom & bath is a great size. We had six adults and everyone had their own space. We spent time fishing and dolphin watching off the dock. Due to the tide, the beach across the road was only present at certain times of the day, but the drive to the other beaches on Manasota Key is not bad. The pictures do not do the property justice. We hope to return to this property again in the future!

Your own Private Beach, Area golf, and great food delivery options

We enjoyed our time and loved walking across the street to the private beach! It is a quiet area, and the people in the houses along the beach were friendly. The house is spacious, open with high ceilings, and eclectic decor. There are three large bedrooms, a nice dining room where we had family dinners, and a huge family room. The tv’s were too complicated for my liking with several remotes for each one. The town does not have nice shopping but we went to Sarasota for that. The guys found several golf courses they enjoyed. The beach is beautiful but there were days the tide covered it in its entirety! It did not stop us from hunting shark teeth which can be found in abundance. The agent was great to work with, and the overall experience was wonderful!
