Damage and incidentals

Watching the sunrise and set from the front deck overlooking the Sea of Abaco was a highlight to my vacation. It creates the sensation on being on a ships bow.
This was a beautiful, quaint treehouse setting. The location was breathtaking, awaking to birds in the trees around you each morning and yet opening the patio doors to enjoy a cup of java as the waves rolled in.
We found the beds to be comfy and the rooms sparkled with beach decor. The kitchen was small but well stocked and we all enjoyed relaxing each evening with a cocktail on the deck.
No problems with WiFi and my 18 year old son enjoyed the lower level bamboo room, his man cave for the week. We utilized the dock and snorkeling items. I would suggest you bring bug spray for the noseeums or mosquitoes. We could have used a few more bath towels as each bathroom only had 2 towels.
Plan on renting a golf cart to get around the town and pack your sunscreen.
Wonderful get away for couples or a family!
Thanks for sharing your treehouse!
Coco Nut Tree House
Fantastic property, beautiful stay...
A little piece of paradise
We loved Coco Tree House. GTC, thanks to Sherry’s instructions, was very easy to get to from TCB. The ferry captain dropped us off at Brendal’s where we picked up our golf cart and Vernal was waiting for us. He loaded up our luggage and headed to the house. The dock was great to hang out and swim. The deck off the house was our morning and evening spot to enjoy the view. House was clean, comfortable beds, everything we needed. Yes there are bugs about, but that’s normal for water/tropical areas. Bring sunscreen and bug spray and you’ll be fine. Cocoa beach was a nice little spot to swim with the angel rays and nurse sharks. North beach was stunning, a little further to get to but well worth the trek. We ate several times at BallyHoo (Bluff House), Green Turtle Club, Wrecking Tree- all very good. We felt as though we had the island to ourselves and loved every minute of the laid back island life-the vacation we were looking for. Rented a boat for the day and enjoyed checking out several beaches around the cays. Nun Jack Cay was our favorite as we swam with large rays, nurse sharks and sea turtles. Enjoyed snorkeling there. Went by No Name Cay and saw the pigs, since we’re from the Midwest and have pigs there we didn’t see the attraction in swimming with them but to each their own. We live on a lake and have a pontoon. We weren’t sure if navigating a Boston whaler on the bay would be our cup of tea but we had no issues and felt money well spent to enjoy and discover beaches on our own instead of on a tour. Can’t say enough about the location of the home, perfect for us. Would have no problem recommending this to our friends and family.
Nice Tree House
This was one of the best properties we saw on the island. Set among the trees, it was a nice quiet setting with a glorious view of the Abaco Sea. The front deck has a nice sense of privacy with a view (with fun watching the passing parade of boats going by). The master bedroom was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed for cooking. The Bluff House was in easy walking distance for a calm shallow water beach along with restaurants. The french doors open to the outside were great, though the screens were not easy to retract. The driveway needed getting used to, but nicely paved.
Overall, very pleasant and comfortable - definitely would book again.
A perfect get away from the hustle, bustle of your daily routine. A quiet, secluded place to enjoy beach walks, a great book, and nature...right out your front door.
