Girls weekend

The house was in a great location, walkable to all the downtown shops, restaurants and bars. Plenty of room for a large group in a quiet neighborhood.

The home was a great location with close proximity to the beach and town. Property owner was very responsive! While the air conditioners in the rental worked well (1 in each bedroom one on main floor), an additional air conditioner to cool the main floor to utilize more living space comfortably would be helpful. Just a head’s up: if you have children staying, the stairs are very steep. The kitchen could use some additional staples like cookie sheets and can openers, etc. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Spacious home, nice amenities, and close to beach and downtown. Lovely, quiet neighborhood. The front porch was the best outdoor sitting area. Check in and check out went very smoothly.Guests with mobility issues might need to know that all three bedrooms are upstairs, with one bathroom. There are two full bathrooms downstairs, but no bedroom. A step-in shower is located in one of the downstairs bathrooms.

This home was AMAZING!

We had our mini-vacay at Lakewinds and loved every moment. you could really tell that they took care in making their home feel warm and welcoming. My 3 year old didn’t want to leave and my mother said she was just in awe of the endless space they had to accommodate our family. we felt right at home and would recommend to anyone we know staying in the area and would love to stay again in future.

The home and location fit our family of 10 very well. the proximity to the beach and downtown area allowed our teens to roam freely on foot. This is a 100 year old home that has been updated and configured to comfortably house adult couples and teens. Appliances are modern. The home is clean and roomy. Plenty of parking. Outdoor spaces provided space for "me" time. One of our challenges as 2-70 seniors was that the stairs to the sleeping rooms were steep and narrow-but that comes with a home of this vintage. The host-Jason was very responsive and Laurie the housekeeper did an excellent job of preparing the house for our arrival.

Spacious home

Quick visit to meet up with granddaughter and family. Large home with plenty of room to spread out. Enjoyed a glass of wine on the deck/firepit, coffee on the front porch and playing ping pong. Granddaughter loved playing hide-n-go seek in all the little nooks and closets! Great location near the beach and in a beautiful neighborhood.

Looking forward to staying here again

I know I am suspicious of a 5 star rating but there is no way we could give this anything less. We couldn't ask for anything better. The home was very spacious and welcoming. Areas if you needed a private moment or for gathering together. The back deck and front porch were very inviting. Brian made it very easy to communicate with and the whole process was easy peasy.

Just ok

Overall, it was fine for one night. Some of the house is updated, and some reminds me of a grandparent’s house (musty). There was a fan hanging loosely from the ceiling in the family room. There were some issues with the downstairs shower head, and the back sliding door wouldn’t lock. Communication was a struggle for some reason, and I did not receive an email with check-in information. The property manager did call me on the day of check-in to relay important check-in information.

This is a good house for a group to stay at. We had my brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and their 23 year old son as well as my husband and myself and our two daughters ages 7 and 11. We enjoyed the back patio and fire table (although it took a couple days for the cushions to dry out as there was no cover but we dried them out then stored them inside, so we could enjoy dry cushions to sit on the rest of the week), the ping pong table in the garage was a nice place for the kids to play in the evening (we had some nieces and nephews in town that throughly enjoyed this nightly). We left a list of things we thought could make it better: wine opener, can opener, cover to put over deck couch cushions, maybe instructions for visitors on how to care for Blackstone-my husband takes meticulous care of ours and he ended up scraping all the food and rust off-theirs and reseasoned it (as well as taking burner assembly apart to clean out spider webs)…it also looked like people were using wire brushes on it which is a No-No. Air conditioners worked well in all rooms that had them. It is an easy walk to the beach and House of Flavors. Some lights and outlets in kitchen didn’t work. I messaged once about refrigerator door being broken and they offered to come fix it but my handy husband found tools in the garage and fixed it. There is A LOT of storage space for food/dishes. They have a coffee pot and keurig. The garage is also a great space to store beach stuff…would definitely stay here again!
