Romantic Escape to our Lake House nestled on a Private, Sandy, Lake Huron Beach

Indulge in the tranquility of "Serenity Lake House" a secluded retreat on 200' of private sandy beach. Glide on clear waters with our Stand Up Paddle Boards (SUPs) and Kayaks, or wade into the refreshing lake and walk out onto our 75 yards sand bar to refresh from your fun in the sun. Explore miles of shoreline, collecting cherished memories and treasures offered up from the lake or layback and glide back and forth in the gentle lake breeze on our hammock made for two. Enjoy stunning sunrises and spectacular moonlit nights under a magical blanket of stars. With very little light pollution on our beach, light a fire and be mesmerized by more stars than you knew existed in the heavens, and maybe, if you're lucky you might even get a rare glimpse of the Aurora Borealis as its brilliant colors dance across the sky. Your private getaway beckons just two hours from Detroit.

There is a Tiny House newly remodeled on the property that will be listed for rent this season as well. If there is a renter in there at the same time, they would also have access to the 200' private beach, and the SUP's and Kayaks may have to be shared. They DO NOT have access to your side of the property (Carport, Hammock, Patio, BBQ, or Fire-Pit on the south-side of the house).

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Wash dishes and put them in drying rack.
Throw dirty towels, robes etc in washing machine. Do not need to run.
Ensure kayaks and SUPs are stored where you found them.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
All trash must be bagged and placed in green Waste Mgmt container and placed by street Sunday night for Monday morning collection.
There are wild life around the property. So clean up all outdoor areas of trash and debris of any kind nightly including the beach.
If you are going to swim, kayak or paddle-board be aware as a private beach there are no life guards, so you will be doing so at your own risk.

Wonderful Cottage on the Beach

Absolutely beautiful sunrise and great location on the beach. Was perfect size for just the two of us - had everything we needed and just steps down to the beach. Patrick was an excellent host and super easy to communicate with - could not ask for more

My husband and I stayed here for a mini babymoon and have the best memories to take home. Location is private, quiet and peaceful. Loved the access to kayaks, even caught a few fish! Weather was perfect. House had everything you could need and Patrick was kind and quick in communication. Would definitely recommend!

Lover's Getaway

We had such a relaxing time staying at Serenity House! The house is very cozy which is exactly what we were looking for. The property has a unique character, was well kept, and had everything we needed for our stay. The view of the lake from the back porch was awesome, very picturesque imo. Why they chose this property

Serenity Lake House sits right on Lake Huron so you can watch the majesty of some of the most beautiful and romantic sunrises. It is one of the more private residences on the lake.

It is ideally located close enough to town for stores and restaurants but far enough away from the crowds. There are no neighbors to the South of us, just woods, while to the north of us are elderly part time residents.

What makes this property unique

One of the few and probably largest private 200’ Sandy Beach’s in the Michigan thumb on Lake Huron. You will seldom see people in the summer, while Fall and Winter the whole stretch of nearly a mile long beach will be all yours.
