The cottage has blooming trees and flowers - the forsythia is striking! Everything is just starting to turn green and it's time to break out the grill and eat outside.
Take a hike on one of the many hiking trails and watch for Trillium, Spring Beauty, Trout Lily, Marsh Marigold, Shadbush and Bloodroot, among many others.

We had a wonderful time staying at this cute cottage. Will definitely stay again! Good location, clean, spacious, and close to nature!
Perfect for our family!
My family had a great stay at Judy's guest house! The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for visiting Downtown Ithaca, Cornell and even a day trip up to Rochester! We will definitely be back!
Thanks for the great review. We are a wonderful location for so many of the things to see and do here, and still be where it's peaceful and rural. We look forward to seeing you again!
All the best,
Nice & warm, on a super cold day.😁😁
Judy once again accommodates us last minute. Was a treat to see the deer there every day.
Thanks for the great review and good to have you back again. Good furnace for winter stays and lots of wildlife to look at!
Very Convenient Location
The owner had everything very organized and ready for our stay. It was very clean and the wood-burner was a nice addition. The beds were very comfortable.
Thank you for the great review. Our goal is to make your stay pleasant and comfortable and we certainly love knowing that we succeeded.
Judy and the crew that makes this happen.
The location was convenient but the home is in need of some maintenance. I agree with some of the reviews which describe the iron smell in the water. Bottled water was provided so that helped. The floors and bathroom needed to be cleaned when we arrived. Having a TV with cable in every bedroom was a plus.
I'm sorry that you found some problems. Maybe we missed something. We'll certainly pay more attention in the future.
Great for a short stay! and the price was right!
We needed three bedrooms and this property fit that perfectly. Two of the bedrooms were huge! Judy was very accomodating when we locked ourselves out and was there in minutes. She was very easy to reach and had some great ideas on what to see in the area. One was Taughannock Falls State Park. We are so glad we listened to her recommendation and went. It was a short drive from the cottage (not even 10 minutes) and was well worth the small hike to the falls. Thank you Judy!
I'm glad you enjoyed your visit and happy I could help. Thank you for your review.
There are so many wonderful things to see and do here. I hope you get a chance to come back and see more of what we have to offer. This fall there will be tours of the Seneca White Deer. These deer are not albino, they are just white and manged to multiply because they were fenced in an Army Depot for over 40 years. This is the largest white deer herd in the world and they are truly beautiful. And that's just the beginning.
There are too many attractions here to list them all. Hiking, sailing, biking, golfing and a trip along the Finger Lakes Wine Trail are favorites for many people. This is a mecca for antique hunters, and anyone with an interest in classical architecture should drive through the nearby Village of Trumansburg with its many historic houses. There are many State Parks in the area, and most of them have glorious waterfalls, hiking trails and many scenic gorges. The Art Trail runs directly past the house and during the open tours it’s a wonderful way to view local artists at work. The Museum of the Earth and the Science Museum are favorites of kids of all ages. Cornell Lab of Ornithology is worth a visit and the entire area is great for bird watching. There are several live theater groups and great music opportunities for any sort of music you can imagine. Great local restaurants for just about any cuisine you can imagine.
