Welcome to Mountain Stream, located along the Eagle River! This 2 bed/ 2 bath condo features a large living area, 2 full bathrooms, heated bathroom tiles, fireplace, deck, and easy access on the first floor. 1 mile to Beaver Creek parking lot, 10 miles to Vail, and located on the bus route as well. Plenty of storage for bikes and boards and ski as well. Tastefully and simplistically decorated, wi-fi and HBO as well.
Our spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath condo has recently been remodeled and is super cozy and easy to access. We're just 1 mile from "downtown" Avon where you will find plenty of options for dining, a grocery store, the Avon recreation center, plus other local businesses (yoga, pilates, shopping). Avon offers locals and visitors many options for a more affordable Vail experience (plus Avon has lots of parking!).
Inside the first story unit, you will find heated bathroom floor tiles to make it nice and cozy on those cold mornings and an awesome fireplace if you want to snuggle up on those cold Colorado nights. The deck overlooks the beautiful Eagle River and in the summer time you can hear the roar of the water. The condo is great for those recovering from surgery from the Steadman Clinic as it's on the first floor. In addition, there are a couple chaise lounge chairs to help when you need to ice or elevate those limbs that need attention, and the bathroom has a tiled bench that you can sit on while bathing. Free parking , bike storage, and easy access to the bus (the bus costs $4 each way). The Eco bus stop located right out front of the complex will take you into Vail ( east about 10 miles) or to Beaver Creek shuttle area (west 1 mile). It's $4 each way, or $8 for a 24 hour unlimited pass. There is a Costco located about 25 miles to the West in the town of Eagle as well.
Access is easy with the keyless entry way (code will be texted to you the day of your arrival). We are on the first floor, so those of you who don't want to lug your stuff up stairs, or are recovering from surgery, the first floor entrance offers easy access to the building. There is one shared wall with another unit which is located on the kitchen and dining room side. Sometimes the parking lot can get a bit icy, so please use caution when walking around outside. Although I love our furry canine friends, the condo association does not allow guests to have pets in the unit.
The door access code will be texted to you the morning of your arrival.
Interaction with us:
We use a property management company to manage our guests when they arrive and when they depart. If there are any problems problems or questions you have about the area you can contact them 24/6.Their information will be provided at check in.
Other things to note:
If travelling to Vail for the first time below are some details to help you with planning your trip:
There are 2 airports that easily serve the area: Denver Airport (about a 2.5 hour drive) and Eagle Airport (about a 30 minute drive)
Rental cars are available at both airports, but you can also take a shuttle - Colorado Mountain Express. There is also a great rental car company out of Denver called SilverCar. they rent only AWD audis.
If departing on Sunday and driving to the Denver airport, you should allow more time to get there as the traffic is pretty bad on Sunday. Leaving early or late are your best options. Late check out is available in this scenario if no one is booked on Monday for an extra fee of $50.
There is a bus stop outside the condo, but there are also taxis and Uber!
There is a large storage closet for your use that you can put your skis and bikes.
Keyless entry system so you dont have to worry about losing your keys.
Eagle Vail is a great community between Vail and Beaver Creek. There are a lot of affordable dining and shopping options and it's a great value for families or people trying to save a little money. There is a golf course in Eagle Vail and a great recreation center in Avon.
We have a parking lot at the condo, but you dont have to have a car to stay here. The ECO bus stop is right in front of the building and runs until 1 am during the winter. It costs $4 each way or $8 for a 24 hour pass
