About this property
Treehouse 6 - Birdseye Perch
Relaxing cabin with fantastic River Access Park within walking distance directly across the street! 1 Bedroom w/ King size Bed, 2 queen beds in the Loft, walk in shower, Full kitchen, fully furnished! (Up to 2 pets allowed with $75 fee per pet )
The moment you arrive at our property and see the enormous eighty-foot cypress trees with decades-old wild Mustang grapevines hanging from their limbs, and a 100’ footbridge that takes you safely across the seasonal creek to your private tree house, you realize you are in a special place.
All treehouses have an attached private deck, an open living room, a dining area, and a kitchen with a loft above. The master suite is located on the first floor of the treehouse. Our Treehouses have AC/heat, Wi-Fi, smart TVs, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and 2 parking spaces per unit.
We are fortunate to be located near a beautiful section of the Guadalupe River on River Road between New Braunfels and Canyon Lake. Though not right on the river, our cabins sit over the seasonal dry creek bed and have 400 feet of river access across River Road with hammocks, picnic tables, fire pits, and chairs for your use.
Also, be aware for those guests staying in the lofts upstairs, our cabins are custom built around the trees, to decrease the weight of the structure, we used spiral staircases to the loft, which can be a bit narrow, but it is part of the charm of our treehouse cabins.!
**KAYAKS and TUBES ARE NOT included but can be rented at nearby outfitters. After a long day of tubing and river fun, many of our guests enjoy relaxing and barbecuing along the banks of the river, recounting the day’s excitement. Afterward, you can enjoy the nightlife and live music venues nearby or hang out with your family and friends on your private treehouse deck.
While all of these activities described above are the main reasons many of our guests come to stay, others come for a quick escape from the city to recharge their batteries and enjoy the relaxing sounds of the croaking frogs or chirping crickets at night as they watch for shooting stars in the starlit sky. Whether you are looking for adventure or relaxation, you will find it here.

Geronimo Creek Retreat – House Rules
Welcome to Geronimo Creek Retreat! We’re so glad you’ve chosen to stay with us. Our goal is for every guest to enjoy a fun, relaxing, and peaceful experience surrounded by nature. Please take a moment to review the following house rules to help make everyone’s stay great.
Please note: we do not provide refunds or rescheduling for no-show reservations.
Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Late check-outs impact incoming guests and housekeeping schedules, so please plan accordingly. A $75 late check-out fee may apply for departures after 11:00 AM without prior approval. If you’d like a late check-out, just ask in advance - we’ll do our best to accommodate when possible.
Pets are not permitted at Geronimo Creek Retreat. Pet-friendly stays are available at our sister properties, River Road Treehouses & Sky Cabins, and we’re happy to help you find the perfect fit there if you’d like to bring your furry friend.
Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please be mindful of your neighbors and the peaceful creek environment. Sound travels easily over the water, so we ask that there be no loud music, shouting, or disruptive activity during these hours. Guests who disturb others may be asked to leave without refund.
Smoking or vaping is not allowed inside any cabin or structure. Evidence of smoking indoors may result in a cleaning fee starting at $200 to restore the space for future guests. Outdoor smoking is allowed — please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.
Fireworks and open flames are not permitted anywhere on the property. Campfires and grilling are allowed only in designated fire pits and grills. Please never leave fires unattended and make sure they are completely extinguished before leaving the area.
Our property operates on a sensitive septic system. Do not flush paper towels, wipes, diapers, hygiene products, or anything other than toilet paper. Avoid pouring grease or chemicals down the drains. To prevent A/C issues, please do not set thermostats below 70°F when outside temperatures are above 90°F.
Before you leave, we don’t expect perfection, but please help us by taking all trash to the blue dumpster near the parking area, placing used towels in the bathroom, and leaving the space generally tidy for the next guests. Excessive mess, damage, or removal of furniture, fixtures, and equipment will result in reasonable replacement or cleaning charges.
All dishes must be washed and left on the drying rack before checkout. A $25 fee will be applied if dirty dishes are left unwashed.
Also, make sure to:
-Set the A/C to 78°F during summer or heat to 72°F during winter
