We had a very serious and unacceptable experience with this booking. When we arrived at the property, the host was already in the house and told us that they “do not work with VRBO” and that we did not have a place to stay.We had a confirmed reservation from December 31 to January 2. We traveled from Miami to Orlando with my wife, my 3-year-old child, and my father, believing we had secured accommodation. Instead, we were left without lodging and had no choice but to spend the night in our car.This situation was extremely stressful and unsafe for a family, especially with a young child. There was no solution offered by the host, no alternative accommodation, and no support at the property.I do not recommend this listing. Guests should not arrive with a confirmed reservation and be told they have nowhere to stay.

I am a doctor who loves road trips and has driven cross-country twice. When I was traveling to Orlando, I couldn’t hide my joyful smile—it felt like I had found my childhood fairytale home. Ancient oaks, golden sunsets, soaring cranes, owls, birds, ducks, herons, even woodpeckers, and boats floating past through the woods and creek in the backyard—it was magical. I care for the local wildlife and enjoy their company. Sometimes I kayak to Lake Tahoe, fish, and take in the breathtaking scenery of the creeks and lakes. What a rich and beautiful life! Eventually, I moved here and would love to share it with guests.

This community is a paradise for travelers, fishing enthusiasts, nature lovers, kids, and pets. We’ve caught many big fish in the pond right in front of the house—not to mention the creek and the large lake in the backyard, which is known for producing a U.S. fishing champion. One of our neighbors is a remote-working nuclear engineer, and another is a doctor’s family. They’re all kind, warm-hearted people, and the neighborhood is safe and harmonious.

I’ve planted many fruit trees, and a large harvest of passionfruit is almost ready—I love sharing them freely with guests. It’s a peaceful area, perfect for walking or walking your dog, with no traffic to disturb the quiet. You can easily walk to supermarkets, shops, restaurants, salons, and even medical clinics. Life here is very convenient, and it’s just 9 miles from major parks like Disney.

It’s rare to find a place that’s right in the city center yet surrounded by nature, with stunning views and abundant wildlife. It’s even harder to find a place where families, kids, and pets can all enjoy it together—but this is that place.
