This was our 2nd time staying here while attending a horse show at WEC. Our 1st time, everything was perfect. This year it looked like the bare minimum had been done for cleaning. The shower doors were still soap streaked and hair on the interior. The floors had not been swept well throughout. All coffee and end tables had not been cleaned and were sticky. The bedding was covered in lint balls, obviously had been washed with toweling or bedcovers. The sodas were covered in crumbs, there was pet hair on the gold out and M & M’s scattered under the cushions. After arriving late in the evening, driving for 4 hours, we were ready to relax but spent an hour making the place clean with limited supplies on hand. There was only 1 extra roll of TP and both bathrooms only had maybe 1/3 of a roll. We love the location of this house and how quiet the neighborhood is. I’m hoping this was the result of poor cleaners or a misunderstanding. The owners need to do better and ensure their property is presented to its best ability.

The salon stay July 3-7

Love the house. There were 2 of us so very roomy. It was 3 miles from WEC so easy and fast to get to location. Plan to stay again when/if we come back. We won’t know until October. Lovely clean house!

Absolutely wonderful

We loved staying at The Salon. The house was perfect for our family during our two weeks showing at WEC. Everything was very clean and tidy. Clearly a lot of thought and care has gone into this place. The property manager was super nice and made sure we had everything we needed.

Long weekend stay while attending horse show at the WEC. Easy drive to and from facility and close to downtown for dining. The house is quite functional for a group of friends or family. It has been updated on the interior since online photos. It has an extra 1/2 bathroom which was a surprise. Furniture and beds were very comfortable with plenty of linens available. New appliances and coffee/tea bar. There are a few things we would have liked to see: a grab bar in the shower(2 of the guests were 80+), hooks for clothes and towels, a shelf and mirror in the 1/2 bath. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. The owners are still working on the out door area but backyard is fenced in. We will be back!
