Enjoy hiking, swimming, kayaking, or lounging around in a hammock. Bring your own boat or jet ski and explore the wondrous sights. At night, roast marshmallows around a campfire. Watch the sunset on your own private dock. Only minutes from local restaurants and grocery store.

Lake Daze Hideaway is in a quiet neighborhood with lots of room to explore. Enjoy hiking along the nature trail to the lake, where you will find a waterfall in the beautiful rock cove. While on your own private dock, enjoy swimming, kayaking, water trampoline and slide, fishing or bring your own boat or jet ski and enjoy all Smith Lake has to offer.

After a relaxing day at the lake, come back to enjoy sitting around the campfire with roasted marshmallows or s'mores. Relax in a hammock or play a game of bean bag toss, while enjoying those stunning Smith Lake sunsets.

While back at The Lake Daze Hideaway, gather together on the covered back porch or dining room to play board games and share meals while still enjoying the view of Smith Lake. Enjoy the 7-person hot tub that provides the perfect location to view those amazing
Smith Lake sunsets. The Kitchen is equipment with all cooking utensils, glassware, oven, microwave, full refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster, and more.

Each bedroom at The Lake Daze Hideaway has its own private bathroom. The built-in-bunk beds share the half bath at the entrance hall. Bath towels are provided and beach towels available for use for those fun lake days.

The Lake Daze Hideaway bedding is as follows: 2 King Beds (sleeps 4); 1 Queen Beds (sleeps 2); 3 Built-in Bunk Beds-Full size on bottom bunk for 2 of the 3; with Twin size bed on top of all 3 and bottom of 1-sleeps 8 total in Bunks); Total of 14 can sleep in beds! Couch available as well, would make 15! Rooms feature black out curtains perfect for a good night’s sleep!

The great room gives a grand view with large windows along the lakeside wall. A large TV is mounted above the fireplace for movie time-SmartTV with apps (YouTube, Youtube TV, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, CBS, ESPN, Pandora) for streaming using your login accounts. Guests can also bring their set-top box (Apple TV, ROKU, Amazon Fire, Chromecast, etc.) for streaming movies, shows and other sports.

You can tie down your motorboat, jet skis, or pontoon at our boat dock after a day of swimming, water-skiing, jet skiing or fishing for largemouth bass, spotted bass, striped bass, bream, and crappie, and enjoy the beautiful sunset over the lake. We are in a cove and the waves aren't that rough coming in. Perfect location for using provided kayaks, paddle board, or pedal boat! Our location is generally great area to pull towables behind the boat as there is not an abundance of boat traffic.

Just a short 5-minute drive, you will find The Lake House store for any items you may have forgotten. Next door, the Antique mall is great area to shop and find some hidden gems. The Dollar General is located next door & has grocery items.

Our favorite restaurants in downtown Jasper are Johnny Brusco's New York Style Pizza, Warehouse 319, Pepito’s, Crawfish Warehouse, Sakura and Victoria's Restaurant and Bakery (great Alabama country cooking). Cujo’s pizza is only 10 minutes away and not bad for the price. The Talk of the Town restaurant is located in Houston and has an historic jail site located across the road that you are able to explore. In Arley, Son’s has a groceries and a deli for a quick meal. The Coffee shop and La Plaza Bonita restaurants are located in Arley, only a short drive so you can get back to enjoying the lake!
