House with ocean and bay views in Middle Keys with boat launch, ramp and dock

Welcome to your perfect getaway in Islamorada/Lower Matecumbe. This charming rental home offers the best of both worlds with stunning ocean and bay views. The property boasts two spacious porches: one overlooking the serene ocean, perfect for watching sunrises, and the other facing the bay, ideal for sunsets. Downstairs, you’ll find ample seating with lounge chairs, perfect for relaxation.

Entering through the three French doors at the front, you step into an expansive, open-concept living space with high ceilings that create an airy, welcoming feel. The living room flows seamlessly into the kitchen and dining area, designed for easy entertaining. Off the main living area is the master bedroom, featuring a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom offers a cozy queen-size bed, its own ensuite bathroom, and direct access to the back porch through another French door. The house is accessible via stairs leading to wrap around porches. The kitchen is well-equipped with all a chef needs to prepare meals. A laundry room is located on the main floor just off the kitchen.

For additional sleeping arrangements, a loft upstairs—accessible by built in ladder—features a queen-size bed and a day bed with a twin mattress, making this home perfect for families or small groups looking to enjoy the best of the Florida Keys.

The private dock includes a private boat ramp, for launching boats up to 23 feet long and 9 feet wide. Trailers cannot be wider than 16 feet but can be stored on site. The draw at the dock is 4 feet. From the dock, it is a 5 minute boat ride to Matecumbe Bight and a 10 minute ride to the Port Antigua sandbar. There is also a bathroom on the ground floor with an indoor shower, an outdoor shower for use after boating and a fish cleaning table. There is a gas BBQ grill off the kitchen on the back porch.

Also available for your use are a 2 person kayak with life jackets and paddles, fishing poles and a bait bucket. Fishing off our private dock is a fun activity for children.

The house is a 5 minute drive to Anne’s beach and a little further to Lignum Vita State Park, Long Key State Park and Bahia Honda State Park. It is about a 1.5 hour drive to Key West, making day trips possible. We have compiled a book of local attractions and restaurants with complete house instructions which is located in the kitchen. The house is accessible via lockbox.
